Spring Day!
It's here!
It's here!
A free day that contains literally just activities! Such a nice day!
Beomgyu waved to his mother as he stepped through the gates of Blue Spring school. He heard the chatting of children and the Nature Elementals talking about what's to come in the garden.
He also heard the other day about the results of the first year's practical exam. They'd be today.
"Beomgyu!!" Heeseung called, walking over to the smiling Beomgyu, who was putting his things away in his locker.
"Hey, Heehee!" he laughed, Jeongin laughing with him.
Heeseung crossed his arms and pulled the other's hair soon after. "I told you to stop calling me that you dumb rat!"
Beomgyu, in his current state of now messy hair, hands above his head and a chain of 'straight up cackling' desperately tried to change the subject. "I heard," he panted, "we're getting our- results... today."
"I know." said Jeongin.
He tried fixing his hair in an attempt to at least look presentable when their class starts because he 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 his teachers will get 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 at him.
But before classes, of course, they go into the gym hall for the result taking and the sorting into their timetable groups.
Beomgyu will never fail to not be amazed by how huge the hall was. It was used as a dining hall and a sport's hall, split into two different sections.
It was 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥, just like the school they go to. There were people with lanyards giving out pieces of paper and there were children hugging and crying. He looked at his friends, wishing they wouldn't end up like those children in the next few minutes.
"I heard we're having dormitories if our parents consent to them! Let's share a cabin!" Jeongin smiled, his eyes beaming.
"Let's also hope that the elements we get assigned to match. They say that if the elements you and the people you share the cabin with don't match or aren't compatible, you aren't gonna share dorms for the trips and holidays we could do, but it's so fun..."
"Mr Choi Beomgyu? Is he here?" the lady called. He walked through the crowd and accepted the sheet.
"Mr Yang Jeongin and Mr Lee Heeseung?" he looked back at them as they took their timetables and results, jaws dropping.
"Beomgyu? What did you get?" they asked in unison.
"I got Weather, which is a combination of Wind and Water. Apparently it's because of my choice of studying Water meanwhile I was meant to get Wind. You?"
"I got Weather as well!"
"So did I!"
They looked at eachother, then the piece of paper, then almost immediately after they crashed into a hug, trying their best not to hold back tears of happiness.
Today is Spring Day. They say the Fate of the Blue Spring gives to them the greatest destiny.
This, Beomgyu thought, could be the best destiny they could've ever given him.
But as he hugged his friends tightly, he realised the Song of the Bluebells hasn't rang yet, which meant that there was more to the Fate than he thought.
