Soobin was getting furious. What had Yeonjun started? Blackmailing him to come downstairs in the middle of the night only to cause drama. He had lied to his father, saying he needed notes from a friend. If his dad found out he was going out because of Yeonjun's persistence, there'd be no escape. His father didn't like Yeonjun at all, and neither did Soobin. To him, Yeonjun, one of the powerful politician, was the most annoying person on earth.
Yeonjun handed Soobin an ice cream, smiling. Soobin's nostrils flared as he took it and threw it into the street.
"Have you lost your mind? Can't you see it's cold? You brought me here just for this? You bastard!"
Yeonjun, unfazed, opened his own ice cream and started eating. "There's not even a trash bin around. My uncle, the minister, has failed this city. I need to have all the thieves working under him executed," he joked.
Soobin fumed. Why didn't Yeonjun get that he hated him as he demanded, "Why did you call me here?" .
"My eyes were hurting." Yeonjun said softly.
"Am I an eye doctor?" Soobin snapped, yanking his hand away when Yeonjun tried to hold it. But Yeonjun pulled him closer, his voice almost pleading. "I love you, Soobin. I can't sleep without seeing you. I'm scared of losing you."
Soobin stared into his eyes, cold and unfeeling. He pulled away, irritated. "Are you forcing me to love you? I'll never feel anything for you. Let me go. If someone recognizes you, there will be a scandal. I'm just a simple person; I don't need this mess in my life."
Yeonjun tightened his grip. "Please, Soobin, just love me a little. I'm not a bad person. I'll even leave politics if that's the issue, just don't push me away anymore."
"I've never liked you," Soobin responded with disdain. "Politics was just an excuse to avoid you. Now, I truly hate you. Stay away from me."
"But I still want you, even with your hatred."
Soobin had no more words. As Yeonjun dropped him off, all Soobin could think about was scrubbing the touch of Yeonjun from his skin.

Jungkook had an terrible dream. Beads of sweat gathered on his small face, and the roots of his hair were damp. His throat was parched and dry as wood. The room was completely dark. Leaving the bed, he stepped outside. How could he have such a bad dream? Perhaps, overthinking about Taehyung lately had caused this horrible nightmare. Jin was approaching him and, seeing Jungkook, smiled and said,
"Hey, are you done sleeping? Suzy and Jimin are looking for you. Go freshen up in Jimin's room. I'm preparing food downstairs. Your uncle has come back."
With a dry voice, Jungkook asked slowly, "What time is it, Jin auntie?"
"It's already 10 o'clock. Taehyung left earlier and told me that you were sleeping in his room. There was a serious incident today, so you needed rest. That's why didn't wake you, angel."
Hearing Taehyung's name, the dream suddenly resurfaced in Jungkook's mind. He muttered quietly, "Where is he?"
"Who? Taehyung?"
"Hmm."
"He left for some work. Politics keeps him too busy for family."
"I'm then going to Jimin's room, auntie."
"Go ahead."
Upon entering the room, Jungkook was surprised by the sight. Jimin and Suzy were both dressed in same coloured pyjamas. Their hairs was parted down the middle, adorned with a bun, their lips painted with pink lipgloss, and a white mixed-up scarf around the neck. They were wearing pink handloom pyjamas with white mixed-up borders, looking impossibly stunning. Even Jungkook being dumbfounded, asked,
