-Previously-
The gom followed Kuroko in hopes of saving him from whatever trouble he was going to attract. They see him enter an alley with a dead end, flanked by three burly men at least thrice his size.

-Present-
"Guys, if we don't want him dead, then we are all going in there to save him. Do whatever you have to, but once you know Tetsu is safe in our hands, run out of there as fast as you can."

The only response Aomine got was determined nods, no objections, not even from Akashi.

They ran to the alley, turning around and spreading around to their best abilities to help Kuroko. Only, what they saw, wasn't what they had expected.

There Kuroko stood, looming over three fallen bodies, eerily reminding them of Akashi's ankle breaker. However, this was different. This was not them falling themselves. This was not them losing confidence and balance.

This was Kuroko pushing them down, arrogant attitudes and egos. This was Kuroko reigning victorious over them. This was what the real Kuroko was like. This was Kuroko Tetsuya, spy and most feared assassin, the Phantom Prince.

They stood there, frozen, thoughts swirling around in their heads. They did not try to run because now, they knew that Kuroko would find them, and he would crush them if they tried to spill anything. Kuroko turned around to look at them.

The five of them staggered back, never having seen this side of Kuroko. This face of Kuroko. It felt like ages until he finally turned around.

"Ah you're already here. I've been waiting for you. Follow me."

As if they were dolls controlled by strings, all of them moved towards the moving Kuroko, so perfectly in sync that it scared them. But they couldn't stop themselves from moving. It was as if Kuroko's orders were controlling them.

"Oh, and, you may feel like you cannot disobey me. Don't worry about that. It usually happens to the people who are hearing this voice of mine for the first time. Anyways, get in."

Kuroko was telling them to get into a car that had came there while he had been talking to them. He was holding the door open expectantly. They got in quickly because they knew that Kuroko could and would definitely leave them behind. Which would result in death.

The inside of the car had been furnished in a minimalistic way that just screamed, rich. As soon as the door was shut, the car began moving. They sat there in complete silence until Murasakibara broke the silence asking for snacks.

Kuroko just nodded and pressed a button on his chair ( how had they missed that?). There was a hissing sound as a door opened at the back of the car. It was filled. To. The. Brim. With. Snacks. An amount of snacks that even Murasakibara's endless stomach couldn't hold. There were stars in Murasakibara's eyes as he took what he wanted and thanked Kuroko.

The other four kiseki were gaping at Kuroko with wide eyes. He looked at them and gestured for them to help themselves.

Seeing that they didn't want any, Kuroko let them be as he made himself busy with his phone. A notification from Akashi's phone was what brought everyone out of their silence.

"You should really check that. It might be your parents worried about where you are." Kuroko told Akashi. Akashi sighed and took his phone out. He was surprised to see that his parents had not called but had still texted.

'We know you're on your way to Kuroko-kun's house. You can stay there for tonight. But I expect you to be in school tomorrow.'

That was his mother. He opened the text from his father and was surprised at the low intensity of the text.

'I heard you're going to Kuroko-kun's house. I expect you to tell me before you go anywhere next time. I'll see you soon.'

Did that mean that he would have to go home that day? Well, he couldn't think about it right now. What had happened with Kuroko was front and center in his mind and he couldn't focus very well on anything else. His eyes slowly moved towards Kuroko. His eyes met Kuroko's and for the first time, Akashi felt like he could read everything and nothing at the same time. He also had this sense that Kuroko was doing this on purpose.

He looked away abruptly, the absurdity of being confused a new feeling in his mind. Kuroko was a confusing boy. A few hours ago, Akashi would have said that he knew everything about the boy. But now, with this new information, not just Akashi, but all the other kiseki felt like Kuroko was a stranger. They, especially Aomine, would have never thought that they would feel like this.

But this could also be a start of a new chapter for all of them, for their bond to get even closer. That was what they were thinking as the car turned into a house that any of them would have mistaken as a castle for royals. Kuroko couldn't be living here right..? Didn't Aomine drop Kuroko at his house onc-oh. That had been Kuroko's aunt's house.

The kiseki were confused. What did Kuroko's parents do for them to be so rich? It couldn't be that they were famous...right? If they were famous some way or another, Akashi, or at least Kise would have known them. Maybe they had just saved up for really long? But all of them saw servants, maids and gardeners around the place. The Kurokos should not have been able to afford that unless they had a steady income coming in.

As they were thinking that, they didn't notice one of the maid coming near them.

'Ah, young master, I see you're home already. And these might be the people Kuroko-sama wanted to meet I presume. Follow me, I will bring all of you to the living room to meet him?'

Seeing Kuroko nod at her, she started moving towards the house at a pace even the kiseki found hard to keep up with. Of course, not including Kuroko. The way he walked made him look like he was casually strolling. Another weird thing because the kiseki had a higher stamina and were generally faster than him. Where did this change come about from?

As they neared the house, the kiseki took in the beauty of the house. Even though the house was huge, the designs were still minimalistic and but it gave off the aura of something dangerous. As if one wrong touch could blow you up. They entered the house to see somebody sitting on the couch. He turned around and waved to them, smiling. The kiseki, except, yet again, Kuroko, all faltered at seeing him.

"Wha-what are you doing here?" Akashi asked him, stumbling over his words. The man smiled at him and just started talking to Kuroko. They seemed to be talking about something serious. After getting confirmation from Kuroko that he could indeed talk about his business to them, he looked at them, starting to explain.
