Chapter Seventeen

"Eva someone is at the door for you!" my mom yelled from down stairs. I had to get up from the most comfortable position I was in and walk all the way down to see who was at the door do you realize how much work that is? A lot, it's a lot of work. When I got to the door I saw Brennen wearing a shirt that said, "Sorry Eva Date Me?" with one rose. "Aw Brennen!" I laughed and hugged him. I took his hand and brought him outside to talk in private I would go to my room but it's too far. "So is that a yes?" He smirked. I nodded yes and hugged him tighter then gave him small kisses on his face. "I strongly like you." I said smiling he laughed, "I strongly like you too." He said kissing me. I don't want to say "I love you" because I don't "love" him I just like him a lot okay maybe I do love him but I can't just say that when we haven't gotten on an official date. "Now that you are my wonderful girlfriend," Brennen got on his knee and gave me the rose, "would you like to join me on a date to Taco Bell?" I laughed and bent down to kiss him, "of course just let me change. You want to come inside?" "Sure." We both walked into the house holding hands. "Ooooooh what's going on over here?" my mom said smiling. I laughed and ran upstairs still holding Brennen's hand. I took him upstairs to help get ready, "okay so what do I wear?" He took a seat on the bed looking around the room you know getting to know my room, "um how about a nice shirt with some cute jeans or shorts and some vans?" I stood there with my hands on my hips giving him a stern look, "you always wear nice fancy stuff. I've never seen you wear something relax able." "I guess you're right." So I pulled out some cute black jean shorts, with a black t-shirt with a medium sized design of an alien in the center of the shirt, with my black vans I put my hair up in a high ponytail and put on a winged eyeliner with a few coats of mascara. "There is this good?" I said standing in front of him. "Beautiful baby." He said kissing me on the forehead we weren't that much different in height but he was taller. "You ready?" I said grabbing my black bag. We left from my room to down stairs to let my mom know where we were going.

"Alright what do you want to eat?" I hated ordering from the drive thru I always felt rushed or under pressure you know? "Um just give me a few crunchy tacos with a large sprite." "Anything else?" the girl said from inside of the building. "Yes uh can I get, can I get two volcano tacos with also a large sprite?" "Of course, 10.50 at the window have a good day." After ordering we pulled to the next empty window and waited for the next car to move up so we could get our food next. "Why do those windows even exist?" I said laughing, "You know I'm not really sure." He said laughing. "So tonight our plan is we're going to sit at the beach for a while you take some cute pics, then once the sun goes down I have a few blankets and pillows in the back and we can sit back, eat our tacos, and just look at the stars and of course talk about anything." I smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek, "that's cute baby." The car moved up and we got our food and then left to the beach which wasn't close but not close enough.

We got out of his truck to walk around the beach and just talk. "So Eve tell me more about yourself." He said holding my hand, "well what do you want to know?" "Everything." He said smiling, "Well I'm Eva May Donte, I have a thing for vine stars," I said nudging him, "I have light brown hair and shit brown eyes, my favorite colors are, red, black, and blue, I don't know what else to say about myself." I said laughing."Tell me more about the Matt situation." "You want to know about that?" "Well obviously there's more to you I figure that has something to do with you." "Okay well, I lived in VA for a while then in high school I met Matt at first the relationship was going good until we hit the middle of the school year, he went from kisses all over me to bruises all over me. When I thought something was going on I asked him if he was cheating on me," Brennen stopped me, "Was he?" I nodded. "And then he apologized and just stayed with him until he hit me then I took his SUV and took all my shit with me like a picture of us then I just drove home and cried. I was pretty fucked up but I know your vines, your tweets, and your videos made me smile so when I heard you were having a meet up I know I HAD to meet you." I said smiling Brennen pulled me into a tight hug and kissed me on my lips, "you know I would never hurt you like he did right?" I nodded and kissed him back. "Let's go eat our tacos." We ran to his truck and set up the back started laying down looking at the stars, eating our tacos, and just talking. Matt never did cute things like this makes me sad knowing he didn't I really loved that asshole but I can't think about that now, I'm with Brennen.
