𝐓𝐨𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐬|| 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟔

Coming back from her own Universe, she went straight to Miguel, asking for explanations. She knew well he was always looking at Spiderpeople, and she was sure he monitored what all happened with The Spot.
She walked to him, on his platform as always, busy as usual. She didn't even bothered to make a sound to announce her presence that she was here, she just spoke and he turned his head as if he knew she was there already <<What was that?>>.
Miguel looked at her as his fingers moved on the screen of his platform, typing something. In fact he was checking on other universes <<Surely not a regular villain.>>.
<<He can teleport to a place to another.>> Y/n stated. And so did Miguel <<And into other dimentions too. I know that.>>.
<<He was talking crazy. About my brother, Miles, as if he ruined his life. But it's impossible. He's dead after all...>> she explained, thinking about Spot's rage she saw before. It was... scary.
But unlike her, Miguel was unexpectly calm.
<<Don't worry about it, I'll take care of it.>> he simply said.
Y/n raised her eyebrown, didn't he listen to her? <<Did you hear what I said or you just ignored me?>>.
<<I did. And I said don't worry.>> he stated again, why was he like this?
<<What if he comes back to my dimention?>> she asked, now worried about people. What if she couldn't save them again like Miles and her father?
What if she was going to make the same mistake again?
<<You'll try to push him back.>> he simply said, as he kept typing on the keyboard as he spoke a bit loud <<Lyla, check where he is now.>>.
Lyla suddently appeared behind him with a thumb up <<On it Miguel!>> and she disappeared again. Y/n kept being anxious more and more <<But what if I can't?>>.
<<You can.>> he stated, his tone remained cold but she got used to it. But she could sense he was not so sure about his own words.
<<I barely did it before he kicked his own ass in the hole!>> she slightly raised the voice. Spiderpeople around them stopped talking for a second, glancing confused to her, before continuing their tasks.
Miguel sighed and turned to look at her <<Listen, he's a villain just like the others. We just have to get him, and we'll trap him in the laser cages just like the others.>>.
<<I don't know... he seems stronger than the others but he doesn't know it yet.>> she explained.
<<He may not know it yet but leave it to me.>> he said.

<<Y/n, Dios mio ¡Càllate!>> he go frustrated, raising his own voice to her. Spidersociety shutted down again, listening to what was happening. Her eyes widened, shutting up. But not for so much, she started raising her voice to him <<¡No me callaré! I am worried for my people ¿Tú entiendes? No quiero que mueran.>> she was seriously worried. He wasn't surprised of her talking back, also in spanish. But it looked like he calmed down a little too <<I'm worried too, but leave it to us.>> he said, his words were hard but it looked like he wanted to comfort here. A weird way but after all he was Miguel.
Y/n sigheed, and Lyla appeared again <<You two done fighting?>>.
<<We were not fighting.>> Miguel turned to the small A.I. that appeared over his shoulder <<Did you find something?>>.
Lyla nodded, on the screen where Miguel was working appeared various dots with small names on it, then a red dot that kept moving from a dot to another. The red dot was The Spot, the others were the different dimentions <<See? He keep moving from dimention to dimention. He's not on Earth-69- wait now on Earth 495- no wait-->> but the Spot was too fast.

Miguel said he was going to take care of it, but she kept being worried.
But he never mentioned the Spot from that day on.
But once, as Y/n walked by to head to the cafeteria, she heard a voice talking slowly and silently <<Earth-1610. He's there. I'll let you check there.>>.
Silently, Y/n eavesdropped behind a wall. She couldn't see, but she could hear if she was focused.
<<Thank you Jess, thank you so much.>>
<<But you have to be careful, girl. Your little friend doesn't have to know about us. And Miguel neither.>> Y/n understood that voice was Jess, what was she hiding? <<And you know your "mission" is to research the Spot. Got it?>>
<<Got it.>> that voice was Gwen.
Little friend? Who was it?
<<Be back in two hours maximum. Less if you can.>> Jess spoke.
Gwen hummed, probably she agreed <<Okay, thank you Jess.>>
<<No problem girl. Now go.>>.
Then there was a portal opening noise, closing after a few seconds. Just then, Jess came back from behind the wall, walking normally, as if nothing happened. And Gwen was gone.
<<Hey Y/n.>> Jess waved, passing by.
<<Hey.>> she simply said, waving back. She wanted to know what was going on, but she wasn't going to ask her. She was going to see by herself.
Y/n went behind that wall, just where Gwen was. She opened a portal, taking a step and going in, direct on Earth-1610.
Too many people were hiding something. And she sensed something wasn't right.
