"Goodbye everyone" The teacher said goodbye to the students and left the classroom. Taehyung who had fallen asleep felt himself being gently shaken until he woke up.

"It's the end of the day, we can leave" Jaebum looked at the other until he was fully awake .

"Oh right. Thanks, man" Taehyung offered him a smile and a thumbs up to show he was fine.

He saw the boy nod his head and leave. Feeling completely drained from his nap, the boy lazily picked up his things and dragged his feet to the parking lot.

He saw Jungkook standing next to his car and walked over.

"There you are" the boy grabbed Taehyung's backpack and opened the door for him.

"Sorry" Taehyung was too tired to really pay attention to Jungkook's sweet gestures, he only plumped on the seat already feeling his eyes closing. Jungkook got in as well and looked at the boy who was already sound asleep it would seem. He smiled and drove off to his apartment.

Taehyung stirred in his sleep and found himself awakening soon after. His eyes opened and he looked around trying to understand where he was. Not recognizing the room, his heart sped up as he got up to leave the room. The door flew open and he saw a jet black male sitting on the floor, playing guitar.

"You're up!" Jungkook smiled and put down the guitar. "Did I wake you?"

"No, but keep playing. I want to hear" Taehyung tried to hide his yawn and went to sit down next to the boy. "What song is it?"

"It's called Simple man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. One of my favorite songs" Jungkook took his guitar and began to play and sing at the same time. Taehyung was in awe, the melody was very melancholic and Jungkook's voice was too. It all seemed so familiar and the lyrics were good as well.

He knew the boy could sing well but he had never heard him sing this kind of song. He would usually sing ballads which suited his tone but this time his voice sounded sad yet hopeful, very unique.

Taehyung pouted when the boy stopped, he could hear him play for hours.

"I really like the song, it seems to be right up my alley. When did it come out?" he asked as he came to sit down next to Jungkook.

"Seventy-three. I really like old songs, my folks used to tell me I was born in the wrong time period because I've never quite gotten to like the songs that come out now. At least not the way I like old songs" the boy put down the guitar and looked at his friend.

"I know, me too. I mean, I like some, they have a good beat and stuff but they don't make me feel as good. They don't mean anything, not like these old classics" Taehyung smiled and felt a warm feeling rush over him.

They stayed in a comfortable silence for a few more minutes until Taehyung asked Jungkook to go drive him home. He hadn't told his parents he'd be staying with a friend after school and he was already late for dinner.
