Taehyung hadn't noticed he had fallen asleep until he woke up. He opened his eyes and looked up, Jungkook was still asleep. He grabbed his phone and saw the time, his eyes grew wide as he got up, well more like fell down on the floor.
"Taehyung? What's up?" Jungkook blinked a few times and tried to wake up.
"I gotta run" Taehyung scattered to his feet and went to find his jacket and shoes.
"What time is it?" The ravenette got up and brought Taehyung his backpack and car keys. "Here"
"It's one in the morning and I have get back home! My parents are gonna kill me-oh thank you" He grabbed his bag, put on his shoes and walked to the door.
"Wait, the restaurant is closed. Let me get the keys" Jungkook took the keys and walked the other downstairs to the entrance. "Can I get a kiss goodbye?"
"Just one" Taehyung quickly pecked the younger's lips before running to his car and driving off.
Jungkook laughed and shook his head in disbelief before going back upstairs.
<Taehyung>
Me: Text me in the morning if you survived your parents
Me: Goodnight xoxo
The bell rang and the class started. Taehyung took out his earphone and paid attention to the teacher. Twenty minutes later, the door opened and a blonde boy sat down next to Taehyung.
"You're even later than usual" he whispered.
"The alarm didn't go off" Yoongi shrugged and sat down, spreading his legs in front of him under the desk. "Where were you last night? I swung by your house, but your parents told me you weren't there"
"I was with Jungkook, we fell asleep and I woke up in the middle of the night. I had to race home and explain everything this morning" Taehyung huffed.
"What did they tell you?"
"Nothing really, they asked me to be more careful and tell them next time"
"Yeah, that's pretty normal for them. Your parents never ground you" Yoongi chuckled and looked around the room, bored.
"That's because they trust me, I don't give them reasons to doubt me or anything" Taehyung smirked before remembering something else had happened yesterday. "Jungkook and I kissed last night" he whispered.
"Well hey, way to go!" Yoongi high fived his friend drawing the teacher's attention on them. "Way to go" He repeated but in a whisper. "How was it?"
"It was sweet and cute. Felt very natural, I can't way to go back to his place today" The brunette blushed and smiled. He was very happy and hoped nothing would ruin his good mood.
The class went on for some time and Taehyung was bored out of his mind. He talked with Yoongi the entire time and spend his two other classes listening to music and taking notes. He exchanged a few texts with Jungkook throughout the morning and until lunch.
The bell rang and the boy grabbed his things before making his way to his locker. He opened it and started placing his books and stuff in it.
A voice sounding right next to his face made him jump.
"Hey there, Taehyung"
"Jesus, Mark! You scared me so much" Taehyung held his chest but let out a chuckle. "What can I do for you?"
"I couldn't go to math in the morning. I had an appointment and I just got here. Can I please take pictures of your notes???"
"Sure, here" The brunette took out his notebook and opened it at the right page for his friend to take the pictures.
"Thanks, man! I owe you one" Mark patted him on the shoulder and waved goodbye with a big smile. Taehyung waved back as well and left to go find Jungkook.
He walked through the halls towards the cafeteria thinking that Jungkook would meet him there. He opened the doors and looked around, he wasn't there. Taehyung sighed, he hated eating alone and didn't know what to do now that he was already inside the cafeteria.
"Why aren't you in line?" Jungkook asked from behind him.
"Jesus, why is everyone scaring me today! No more talking until you're right in front of me" The brunette pointed to the other in a threatening way.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" Jungkook laughed but looked at the other fondly. "Let's go get some food" He motioned the queue and went to wait in line with his friend. The two boys got their plates and went to sit together at one of the tables.
"Why don't you ever eat with Yoongi?" Jungkook picked up his fork and started eating.
"His lunch time is spent with his boyfriend, Hoseok. He goes to an all-boy school a little further away from here"
"I'm betting his parents don't know he's gay then"
"You're right" Taehyung nodded and smiled. For someone who didn't like to be observed when eating, he loved spending this time with the younger.
Thinking about this made him look around, he saw various boys and girls were staring. Some were talking, some were laughing and some just didn't seem to mind.
"Doesn't it bother you that people are looking?" He let down his fork and looked at everyone then back to Jungkook.
"I don't care if they stare but I care if it bothers you. So, does it?" The ravenette asked.
"It doesn't bother me. But you do know why they stare, right?"
"I have a feeling you're about to tell me" Jungkook smiled and put down his fork as well.
"Because you've never had a public girlfriend or boyfriend before"
"Oh, and you're one?" Jungkook squinted his eyes and tilted his head.
"Whatever" Taehyung got up but felt Jungkook grab his wrist.
"I'm kidding, now give me some sugar" The younger laughed and brought the other back down.
"Ew" Taehyung said but giggled nonetheless, kissing his boyfriend. "You know, you should be happy I'm here kissing you when you haven't officially asked me out yet"
"Taehyung, will you be my official boyfriend" Jungkook grabbed the other's hands in his and asked him with a playful smile.
"Well, might as well now that everyone saw us" Taehyung let his head rest on his hand and feigned a casual a casual answer.
"I hate you" Jungkook whacked him over the head but immediately brought him in his arms when the elder pouted from the sudden attack.
