Chapter 6:

That night Vikki didn't go to bed, I put both kid's down for the night since it was around 12;30 at night.
After seeing that thing hold my daughter made me put the baby monitors back in there room while I sat on the bed on the computer.

I looked up thing's about ghost and how this could be all real. Was my daughter in some kind of trouble? How can I protect her when I can't even touch it .

I rubbed my forehead and laid back on the bed.
Me and Vikki were having a tiny argument that's why she isn't in bed. She does not think she was hard on Vanessa when in my opinion she was..

As I closed my eye's I re-opened them hearing Vanessa whispering.
I looked over at the monitor and grabbed it.

'I'm sleepy let me sleep.'

'You got me in trouble. Go away'

I sat there as finally Vikki walked in sighing as she through her shirt off. I didn't bother looking as she plopped on the bed and looked at me.

"Is that Vanessa talking?" She asked.

"I swear she was asleep.."

We listened as she argued with this thing for the longest time finally it got quiet, she probably passed out.

"I am sorry but this isn't normal.. Vikki I saw thing holding our daughter. She was even shocked I saw it. "

"Melissa.."

"Don't Melissa me! I know what I say." I snapped.

She sighed and got up changing clothe's.
"All I am saying is , it was long night maybe you saw something or it's your mind playing trick's on you"

I laughed and rolled my eye's getting under the cover's
"Yes it is all in my head. Yep your right."

She mumbled under hear breath as I closed my eyes and tried to sleep, But nothing was working as i felt Vikki's arm's around me by the tingle's, I hated fighting over something that didn't need us fighting.. But this was serious and I was the only one to see that.

We stayed quiet until finally I fell asleep in her arm's with her breathing and snoring down my neck.

The next morning, I woke up with mother nature and was not happy. I groaned at the cramp's and rumbled my neck looking into the mirror. I saw a little hickey as I cursed at Vikki under my breathe. She came in and smirked looking at me.

"So that's why you were close last night." I waved my finger in her face.

She laughed and kissed my cheek and walked away.

"Hurry up, Look's like the kid's are up before us making a mess in the kitchen."

I groaned and washed my face and tied my hair up trying to cover up the mark but not really caring much to do so.

I finished up and walked down the stair's as Carla's son ran by with a bunch of other little kid's as they laughed. Carla's son and mine were close. Vincent was laughing as they ran out in the backyard with the football. I smiled and went into the kitchen as little princess was brushing her barbie's hair.

"Morning Princess"

"Hi mommy." She smiled.

I went over and grabbed myself some coffee as Vikki came over and stole it. I growled as she sniffed the air and giggled.

"Now i know why your moody."

I blushed hard and smacked her arm. Jason came in with his mate as she giggled giving him a kiss as she left.

Lark came over and slapped his back smirking.

"Have Donny and Fred woken up?" I asked.

"They aren't up yet." Lark said sitting at the table.

I smiled and went over and smacked his back.

"Okay well since you and Jason are good friend's and are awake. Can you do them a favor since they just got back and probably need to unpack still. Can you train the newbie's?"

Jason groaned but nodded sitting down grabbing the coffee from Vikki as she laughed.

"Oh, and train Vincent little by little."

I looked at her but said nothing knew this day would come where they start off young.

"And Vanessa?" I said.

She looked at me as I glared at her, She nodded.

"And Vanessa." She spoke up coughing.

Vanessa's head popped up as she looked at us and smiled.

"I finally get to train!" She giggled.

"Yes, but your starting off with basically getting in shape and working on your muscle's." I smiled at her.

She nodded getting up and hugging me as she went into the backyard screaming for Vincent.

Vikki looked at me and set her cup down, I already knew what she was going to say and I really didn't want to hear it.

"She cant be like us.. She isn't strong enough."

"Neither was I? Look at me now." I rolled my eye's.

She stayed quiet as Jason and Lark got up feeling uncomfortable as they walked out in the backyard gathering everyone us. Vincent came in dragging Vanessa as he looked mad.

"Mom! She cant practice with us! She is a girl! My friend's are laughing at me!"

Vanessa pulled away from him and frowned.

"Vincent, Just because she is a girl does not mean she cant do anything you can. It make's her no different, and who care's what your friend's think."

"I do." He frowned glaring at me.

I crossed my arm's not liking the attitude. I swear the more he grow's up the more we fight.

"Vincent, She can do anything you and those boy's can, and do not give me lip. Now go and train before you skip out on your first day by sitting in your room."

He let's go of Vanessa as she stuck her tongue at him and he stormed away joining Jason who was yelling out thing's.

Vanessa put her hand on her hip and growled.
"He is so mean."

I giggled at her sass and kissed her head.
"He is just being protective, it's what brother's do." I smiled.

She rolled her eyes and ran outside to Jason as he spun her around.
I looked at a very worried Vikki as I smiled.

"She is strong Vikki.."

She wrapped her arm's around my waist and smiled.
"She is like you in so many way's."

I stared at her from a distance and smiled.
"She is isn't she."

My daughter will grow up with her brother being protective than would find out why for so many year's.. I don't know how I could ever handle telling her that.
