Chaeryeong POV

Mommy said I could go to play at the playground near our house if I brought Chaeyeon Unnie, so I did. I love it when mommy lets me play here! The slide is my favorite part. I go every day as many times as I can.

Today, like normal, Chaeyeon Unnie is swinging on the swings and I am going down the slide when a girl comes around the corner. She's walking with her hand in her mommy's. I've never seen her here before, so she must be new. She looks like she's my age.

I slide down the slide quickly to greet her. "Hi! I'm Chaeryeong! What's your name?" I say, putting out my hand for her to shake. She just looks up at her mommy nervously. Her mommy nods, and she immediately smiles.

"I'm Ryujin, but you can call me Jinnie!" She tells me. I smile. "Call me Chaery!" She nods and takes my hand, running towards the playground. I follow her, excited that I have a new friend.

Ryujin POV

I skip happily towards Chaery's house. Last month, my mom and Dad and I moved to this new neighborhood. I was scared that I wouldn't make any friends or get along with the kids here, but on the day after I moved I met Chaery! She was on the playground with her big sister when my mom and I came, and she quickly said hi to me and we played together for a while. Since then, we meet every day when we can at the park. School starts tomorrow, and since I'll be in the same class as her, we get to hang out every day! Right now, me and my mom and Dad are going to her house so our parents can meet.

When we get there, I skip up to the front and knock. Chaery quickly opens the door and hugs me. "Jinnie!" She shouts.

"Chaery!" I shout back. She drags me through her house to her backyard, where her sister, Chaeyeon, is talking to one of her friends.

"Hi, Chaeyeon Unnie," I say as we pass them.

"Don't say hi to them! They're the villians!" Chaery exclaims. I look at her, confused, but she just drags me away from the older girls. "Quickly! Before they-"

Chaeyeon and her friend start chasing us around the yard. We both quickly run away, but they catch up. Soon enough, we're all on the floor laughing.

"Girls! Dinners ready! Go wash your hands, please!" Chaery's mom says.

"Kkura unnie cmon! Before the babies take our seats!" Chaeyeon shouts, grabbing her friend's hand and running to their bathroom. Chaery helps me up.

"After dinner, I'll tell you all about school. Kay?" She asks and I nod.
