You and Frank run out of the school at full speed out of the school, racing to the bus in front of your class and leaving Rhea in the dust, shaking her head. Your teacher tells at you to slow down and wait for the class.
You and Frank take a chill pill real quick and you wait for your teacher to herd the students onto the bus. When it's your turn, you drag Frank and Rhea to the very back of the bus and sit in the small seat.
Rhea and Frank cram into the seat next to you and Frank reaches across Rhea to show you his phone, which has some distorted meme of Tony Stark on it, one that you totally didn't send to yourself before pretending to not care.
Apparently you were gong on a field trip to Stark Industries, which was actually new information to you, as you hadn't listened when the teacher at the assembly talked about it.
It was like some internship test, or something (you still weren't sure, even after Rhea's through explanation). AKA, the internship Eugene the Bullying Sophomore claimed to be going to. That was a lie, obviously, because only juniors and especially hard working/smart students would be going on this field trip.
Almost half the grade 11 was on this bus. The other half was on the other bus, but there were three peculiar sophomores who were all squishe into the same bus seat a couple rows in front of you. Nobody had wanted to sit across from them, so that seat was empty.
"One second," you tell Frank, who has been trying to show you a distorted picture of Captain America for about a minute now.
You stand up and migrate to the seat across from the only three sophomores on the bus, and stare at them weird. The girl is almost falling into the aisle.
"Do I know you?"
The boy in the middle's neck almost snaps with the force he used to look at you. He seems a little familiar, but then again, they all do. "W- what do you mean?" he asks.
"I mean, do I know you? You all seem oddly familiar, and you're the only sophomores going on this field trip."
"Uh, yeah, what about it?" Asks the girl, pretending not to care.
"What are your guys's names? It might help jog my memory."
"Oh! I'm Ned Leeds," Says the boy by the window. "This is Peter Parker and MJ Jones."
"Ohhhhhhh, that makes sense now. You lot are the kids Eugene likes to bully, right? Well, more specifically you are." You gesture to the kid in the middle, Peter.
He visibly winced. "Um, yeah. How did you know about that?"
"Oh, everyone knows about that, it's like common knowledge at this point, right along with Darth Vader is Luke's Father and Percy Didn't Wanna be a Half-Blood. Nobody likes Eugene, though. I think I even tried to pull him off you last Wednesday when he was trying to like threaten you, or something? I don't know, it actually looked like he was trying to make out with your ear. " You ramble, forgetting there's actually people listening to you and would probably like to talk. "Anyways, do you guys like Star Wars?"
"I love Star Wars!" Says Ned with stars in his eyes.
"Nah," Replies MJ, holding out the Vulcan salute. "Trekkie for life."
You stare flabbergasted at her ultimate betrayal of the superior 1970's fantasy-sci fi movies. "That's just offensive. I'm leaving, I have some distorted pictures of the Avengers to look at. Oh, I'm Y/n, by the way, anyway byee!" You try to move back to your tiny seat, though now Rhea has filled it and you have to sit with Frank.
The three sophomores stare at you for a second and then debate the superior fantasy-sci fi film.
