beside the widely opened window was an albino haired boy sitting with silence, despite being in an important lesson, he looked to stare outside the window, admiring the beauty he seeked from afar. each bougainvillea petal blown by the wind just makes his crimson eyes sparkle.

"class dismissed!" a loud voice said, cutting him out of his trance. as he snapped back to reality, he heard everyone say their goodbye simultaneously. 'finally, about time.' he thought, packing his bag then went off.

as he stepped outside the classroom, he was met with a friend he long so deared to see. the friend had beautiful olive eyes that matches his maroon colored hair. "is there anything you need?" the boy asked, seemingly uninterested to see the other. "i just thought you'd like to walk home together? we haven't since forever." the friend replied, a nervous smile placed on what the boy called a beautiful face. "whatever." he muttered as a sense of agreement.

the two walked side by side on a quiet street, the awkward silence getting the best. "so, what made you want to walk home with me? that's quite odd of you." the boy asked trying to break the silence, glancing at his friend. the friend only smiled as a response and despite how confused the boy was, he decided against asking.

they continued walking awkwardly till they reached a certain part of the road. "well, this is where we part ways." the boy said, turning to the right side of the road. he proceeded to walk but, that was until a hand stopped him.

"no. let's stay here for a while." the friend said squeezing the other's hand in his. "but why-?", "shut up." he cut the other's words off, pulling the boy towards him by the hand, hearing a yelp in response. "let's stop and take the time to admire the sunset, ok?" the friend said, releasing his grip into a soft touch. the boy only nodded in response and looked towards the sky.

the sunset really looked beautiful, no wonder why the other would like to stay for a while. "you know, i wish this moment could last forever." the friend said while the other hums in response. they both stared at the sun in a calming silence, but of course nothing is meant to last forever.

few minutes have passed, the friend finally spoke. "it was nice while it lasted, but i have to get home now. bye!" the friend said, the other nodding in response.

but before the friend walked away, the boy managed to catch something his friend muttered. the boy's eyes widened as he heard what his friend said.

..

a clicking sound was heard, as the boy opened the door to his house, 'what did he mean by that?' the boy was deep in thought. but he decided against thinking too much, he was already worn out tired. maybe a nap.. yep that'll do the trick.

..

"wahh!" the boy yelled, jumpscared by the ringing sound of his alarm, he sighed as he saw the time, it was already 9. he stood up from the bed, walking towards the kitchen to grab an apple, later sat on the couch.

as he switched on the television, he saw the first channel seemed to be a cartoon movie, he's not really fond into that so he skipped it. next channel, a news report? a suicide!? in his hometown!?

"who the hell would be stupid enough-!" he yelled, but soon cut himself off as the scene on the tv changed into a familiar house. is that.. is that!?

running, he was running, towards the home of a friend he long so deared to see the most. as he reached the place, he trembled.

he trembled as he saw the beautiful bougainvillea gardened house turn into a nightmare of crime scene tapes. sirens were screaming, blue and red lights were all over the place.

he tried to cross the tapes but was stopped by the police. "let me in! please!" he yelled frustratingly, trying to pass through. "i'm sorry sir, but you're not allowed to go inside." one of the officers replied.

after all the struggle he decided to give up and just sink into the ground. "he's fine.. he's fine.." the boy kept on whispering to himself.

but he knew it was all useless, the only thing he could do now was cry all the intent of his heart out onto the ground, as it was visible to see his lifeless friend by the window, a rope hugging around his neck.

"hey.. you still haven't heard my answer.. you know..?" the boy muttered breathily as he recalled their yesterday. "i love you too..."
