No one's POV

Apollo was sitting in a meeting with the other 12 gods, which was as boring as ever. Zeus dismissed the gods when it finished, but Zeus asked Apollo to stay back. "Can I ask why you need to speak with me", Apollo asked as he looked at Zeus, "I need you to cover one of my lovers again". Apollo sighed, "Okay, who is it this time, and for how long. Apollo asked, these were the same two questions from the last time Zeus needed him to cover his affairs from Hera. "Just go to a hotel in downtown New York for around 3 days, and that will get Hera's suspicions off my back", said Zeus. "Roger that, and I'll see you in 3 days", and with that Apollo left the meeting room, and headed to New York, again for the 5th time.

It took a while for Apollo to find the right hotel, as there were a few hotels there, but he found it eventually. He wanted to ask Amaya if she wanted to hang out while he covered for Zeus. Unfortunately, Amaya had to work. Apollo never doesn't understand why mortals have to work long hours.

Apollo met the woman with whom Zeus was having an affair; the lady was nice, pretty, and pleasant. They had a small conversation, mostly about casual things, and nothing else. Throughout the three days he was there, Apollo talked to Amaya, heard some drama about other people, and just spent some time with his thoughts, which sometimes isn't a good thing.

Apollo just stared at the ceiling, it was rare for Apollo to hear his own thoughts, his mind was often filled with mortal prayers, his godly duties, or glimpses of possible outcomes from prophecies. But right now, he heard nothing. Apollo closed his eyes and tried to sleep, but unfortunately, sleep didn't come easily.

Apollo got up and walked down the hall to the bar, "Four drinks of your strongest, please", he asked the bartender. The bartender poured him four Golden grains, "That would be $32, sir". Apollo gave him the money and chugged the first two drinks, his throat burned but he didn't care. He stared at the third drink, glared at it, and chugged it. The bartender looked at him, but he turned away having seen this before. Apollo put the cup down on the counter with a small clink. Apollo put his head in his hands, suddenly he felt the same strange feeling he did when hanging out with Amaya that day at the cafe. He shifted to try and get rid of the feeling but it didn't leave; the feeling was getting closer. Apollo started to feel the alcohol doing its job, he rubbed his temple and felt a headache starting.
