The Fates, seers of the past, present, and the future. Looking at Apollo, "Should we interfere, sister", asked past. Future closed her eyes and then opened them, "I foresee that might fix the rift between them".

The Fates held hands and a bright light flashed.

Artemis POV

I wake up in a hotel room, Wait.....

A HOTEL ROOM!?

I got up from the bed, it smelled like alcohol. I grabbed a mirror next to the bed and looked at myself, but instead of seeing my reflection, I saw my brother's reflection! I was in Apollo's body!

My brother looked like shit. And he reeked of alcohol, just like the bed. Just then the door opened and in came a woman, probably in her mid-20s, with brown hair with the tips dyed dark blue, brown eyes, casual pants, and a black shirt, "Hey, are awake yet", she said.

She looked up and saw me, I guess my face, (technically my brother's face), looked surprised because she asked, "You good there, Apollo?".

Artemis immediately went up to her, got her by her shoulders, and frantically said, "Who are you, where am I, and why does my brother's body smell of alcohol". Amaya, not seeming shocked, calmly put Apollo's (Artemis') arms to his side and chuckled a bit, "How much did you drink, dude? You look like you've seen a ghost or something. Aren't you supposed to be raising the sun by now". Artemis was confused, "Listen, mortal, or whatever your name is, I'm NOT Apollo. I'm Artemis, goddess of the moon, hunt, and virginity. Now, where am I?".

Amaya looked at the person in front of her, "Okay, seriously Apollo, how much did you drink before I dragged you out of the bar". Amaya was getting a little worried now, Apollo had had weird hangovers before, one of which he accidentally made trans people, but none of which he forgot who he was.

Artemis however, not knowing what was going on, was starting to get mad, "Where am I, mortal. And stop referring to me as Apollo, he is my brother, I am Artemis".

Meanwhile

Apollo's POV

I woke up to a headache, which was expected. I felt weird but brushed it off as a hangover effect. I looked around and saw I was in Olympus, "Did I teleport here when I was asleep", I asked myself.

I looked around the room and noticed a lot of my sister's stuff everything in the room was Artemis', "She's going to kill me when she finds out I was in her room", I said as I got up and rushed to the door, but passed a mirror and stop. I walk back to the mirror and step back as I see my sister's body in the mirror instead of my own. I start freaking out and realize that if I'm in Artemis' body, then....

"SHIT!", I yell, Artemis is in MY body right now. I teleported to the hotel room I was in last night and found my body and Amaya. My sister was yelling at Amaya, (in my body), and Amaya looked worried before she saw me standing behind. " geez, what's next? Ares coming in through the door, the fates appearing", said Amaya, she sounded annoyed. Artemis turned and saw me, "Apollo! What's going on, and who is this mortal", she said, which sounded weird since it was my voice. "I don't know what's going on, Artemis, and that 'mortal' is named Amaya", I said walking closer to both of them.

No one's POV

All three of them were confused about what was going on. Finally realizing what was going on, Amaya said, "Wait, so, you're Artemis". Artemis looked at her, "Yes, I told you this already. Are all mortals dumb?", said Artemis. "Excuse me", said Amaya, sounding offended.

Apollo, watching this unfold, stepped in to make sure they didn't start a fight. "Okay, so, of what we know, we've switched bodies. Do you remember anything weird yesterday, Artemis". Artemis looked at him, "No, yesterday was as normal as any other day. What about you? Anything weird happened". Apollo shook, "Not that I can remember". Amaya stepped in, "You can remember as in, nothing weird happened, or you can remember because of the alcohol".

Artemis, now curious, asked, "Why do you keep bringing up alcohol?", she turned to Apollo, "Were you drinking?". Apollo didn't say anything, but instead, changed the subject, "Not important. What is important is that we're in each other's bodies, and we still have to do our duties to attend to". Artemis signed, "I hate to say this, but you're right. How about we switch duties until we get back in our bodies". Apollo agreed.

Artemis then left to try Apollo's duties. Amaya turned to Apollo, "So, how long do you wanna bet that she'll be back to ask how to do your job?", said Amaya with a grin. Apollo chuckled at Amaya's joke, then frowned, "That's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about how she'll react to the other gods' actions". Amaya's grin wearied but stayed on her face, "Or maybe she'll realize how much bullshit you deal with and apologize". Apollo doubted that would happen, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. "Well, I'm off to go do my sister's duties. Tell me if she comes back for help", said Apollo before leaving.

Later, Apollo was surprised that he finished Artemis' duties rather quickly, he checked over everything to make sure he did things right, and aside from the Artemis' hunters noticing a slight change in Artemis' behavior, they didn't pay much attention to it. On the other hand, Artemis was struggling with most of Apollo's duties, she managed to raise the sun and talk to the muses about music, (with the amount of knowledge she had of it), but everything else was confusing her. Apollo was the god of a lot of things, sure, but the amount of things he had to do daily was making her want to bang her head against the wall. "No wonder Apollo drinks, this stuff is hard", said Artemis, she cringed when she heard her own words, it was her words but Apollo's voice, "I need help".

While the twin gods were doing each other's duties, Amaya was having a normal day, as normal as a day where your best friend switches bodies with his sister for an unknown reason or explanation. Amaya was going out for her lunch break when three ladies walked up to her. "Hello, may I help you", Amaya said, "Amaya Nikkole Martinez. We have something to inform you about", said all three of them in unison. Amaya looked at the three women in front of her, "Okay..... How do you know my full name", Amaya said cautiously. She put her hand in her pocket where she had a lipstick that turns into a dragger, (which was an old Christmas gift from Apollo).

The three women knew that she had reached for the dagger, "Don't worry, we simply want to talk. No need for a dagger", said the woman in the middle. Amaya took her hand out of her pocket and looked at the ladies, "What do you want to talk about?". The Lady on the left stepped forward, "We are the Fates. We normally don't interact with mortals, but you are no mortal, are you", said Future.

Amaya held her breath, it was true; she wasn't mortal. She'd been alive for almost 4 centuries now. She had watched as the time passed, she hadn't grown tired of being immortal as other mortals did when given immortality, she had embraced it.

"We simply want to inform you of what we have done, you are not to intervene", said Present. Amaya was confused, "Don't intervene in what?", Amaya asked, confused.
