I'm Sorry?

Chapter 1

Tuesday morning and I can't get myself out of bed. UGGGGG my head is pounding. I shouldn't have gone out last night... doI have work today or is it my day off? I'm so hungover I can't remember. what happened last night?

"You Can't just leave him, Millie!" Emilia yelled at me in the middle of the club.

"Why? It's not he'll even notice I'm gone! He never texts me or even calls me to start the conversations!" I screamed back

Shit, that's all I remember as I pull up my messages, only to see that Emilia had me blocked. Damn it Levi did too. Well there goes my boyfriend. Wait, we work with each other, I can just talk to him there. I still can't believe that my best friend and boyfriend blocked me. It's like they were never part of my family. I decided to call my best friend's fiancee and see what he knew.

"Hey Samael, do you know why Emilia and Leviaethan blocked me?"

"No... what do you think you did?" I could see him grinning.

"Why do you think I did something? From what I remember I upset Emilia by saying I wanted to end things with Levi."

"What did my brother do? Em might be mad because Levi's her best friend."

"All he does is sleep with other women and that bothers me, I don't want to be seen as someone who he doesn't care about. I don't want to be just another woman in his life. I also correct you about Em and Levi being best friends... They are having an affair."

"You're joking about my brother and fiancee! right?" He said the last part was not so sure.

"I'm sorry, but no I'm not. I was looking for something on Levi's phone 2 days ago and found the text line. I know you love her and want to believe she wouldn't do that but she did."

"I have to go," he said and hung up on me.

Well, that didn't go as planned. I think that I just lost everyone. I will never hold down a relationship at the rate I'm going. I rolled out of bed and went to make myself breakfast when I smelled myself—that's ripe, time to shower. As I get in the shower, my phone rings but I ignore it because I think it's Levi and I need to clear my head. Once I was done and used all my hot water, I looked at my phone to see that my boss called me 4 times, she also left 20 texts for me. I texted her saying I couldn't come in because I needed a mental health day. It's been an hour since I talked to Sameal and I think I'm going to leave the city, I mutter to myself as I grab my laptop when suddenly there was a knock on the door. I stand up and the door bursts open. As Sameal comes in I jump and hold my chest.

"What are you doing here!" I shout at him

"I needed to know how you found out about them, and if you had any pictures of the conversations. I also needed to get out of the house," he responded aspirated.

"You can stay here as long as you need and you know that. I was looking for something he said to send myself from his phone when Em texted him and so I read what it said and started looking through his texts. I don't think either of them cared about what was happening, or about us when they started the affair." I said as we sat on my couch. He looked like he wanted to die and never looked to see what the future might hold.

"I think that my brother just wanted to make us envy them. He feeds on that type of thing. I doubt that he was thinking about either of us when he did it. Emilia is just someone who I thought I knew and didn't." was all he said as he lay on my couch. I scrambled up and grabbed the ice cream from my freezer and walked back to my couch with two spoons. I handed him the ice cream and a spoon. He just grinned at me and ate the ice cream with me. We just sat there in silence watching the news, until he got up, looked at the ice cream container, grabbed my remote and went to my YouTube. When it loaded up, he burst out laughing because it was all music, no normal videos. I was confused about what he was doing until he searched for "Better than Revenge" by Taylor Swift. I grabbed my remote from him and added "Wonderland" also by Taylor Swift to the queue. For a while, we just danced to whatever came on until I shut off the TV.
