In summer's sorrow, where the heat does scorch,
Shadows stretch long, my soul does parch.
Time flies swift, a feeling of strain,
While my heart burns in the silent pain.

Beneath the shimmering sun, all fades pale,
Memories pass by, like a fleeting tale.
As sadness awakens, in the heart's despair,
Love fades away, like a drop in the air.

Dark clouds cover the sky above,
Recollections of summer, pain does shove.
Birds softly weep, the distant sounds do play,
Summertime sadness, in a quiet way.

On the deserted shores, waves crash and break,
A bitter feeling, like ripe fruit's ache.
As the sun sets, its shine fades fast,
In summer's sorrow, my heart does cast.

In the heat of summer, the sadness creeps in,
While the sun illuminates the blue sky,
My heart grows heavier, my soul mourns,
Summer brings only silence and longing.

Beaches are deserted, waves lament,
Beneath the scorching sun, shadows fade,
Memories awoken, of the days of joy,
While the heart weeps for the lost beauty.

Flowers wither, under the blazing rays,
Birds sing sad songs now,
Love cools, like the summer breeze,
The present is a shadow of sweet past.
