BFDI/TPOT One Shot Stuff

(Coineedle) Picnic out (ft. Pin and TD)

Yeah, I ship Coineedle, and honestly prefer it. I don't have a problem with CoinPin, though I don't plan on making any oneshots of it in here.

Coiny set the checkered blanket down as he glanced over to Needle, who was sorting through the basket they had brought. The two were hosting a picnic, and while it was mostly going to be just them, they did invite Pin and Teardrop along too. Pin had asked Leafy if she wanted to join, but she declined, thinking Pin should spend some time with her friends, and it wouldn't feel like she just tagged along.

Coiny sat down, removing his hat and resting it nearby, looking out at the view, mainly to see if he could spot the girls coming. Needle stopped what she was doing, glancing over at Coiny, smiling as observed him under the shade of the tree. Despite the many times she had slapped him due to him calling her "Needy" so many times, whether by accident or on purpose, she did love him. Even if he considerably had some weird habits, such as baking dirt, she didn't really mind. speaking of that, Coiny wanted to bring some baked dirt to the picnic, but Needle of course convinced him not to, cause arguably nobody else would eat dirt, let alone baked.

It's been a while since they've interacted with TD too, so they figured this would be a great time to catch up. As Needle admired the soft breeze moving the leaves on the tree, Coiny shouted, "They're here!!", causing her to jump a bit. She looked down the hill, and she could see Pin and TD making their way towards their spot, Pin's red car parked a few feet away from the field. The girls eventually made their way up, smiling towards the two. "Hey Coiny! Needle, it's so good to hang out with you guys again! It's such a beautiful day out today too!", Pin said, seating herself comfortably. TD also sat down, removing her rain boots with a small grin. "Yeah, it's also good to see you Teardrop, how's things been going?", Coiny asked, crossing his legs as Needle started looking through the basket for drinks. TD just gave a thumbs up.

"Anyone want anything to drink?", Needle asked, taking the cups out. "We've got...water, tea, lemonade and wine!" Pin and TD stared at Needle. "Um, why'd you bring wine?", Pin asked. Needle glanced at Coiny who just awkwardly looked away. "Uh...no reason..", she answered. "So anyway, what would you guys like?" Teardrop pointed to the water, and Needle poured her a cup. "I'll try some tea.", Pin said, and Coiny did the pouring and handed the cup to her. "Since when did you start drinking tea?", he asked. "Leafy's introduced me to some different kinds, and I actually started to really like it!", Pin said, taking a sip. "Took me awhile to get used to it, since it was my first time, but now I consider it one of my favorite drinks!"

"That's cool.", Coiny replied, looking over at Needle. "You want anything, hon?", he asked. Needle smiled at him. "Just some tea as well, we can get to the wine later..", she said with a small smirk. He smirked back, pouring her some tea, before pouring some lemonade for himself. "Oh yeah. Teardrop?", he started, the blue haired girl looking up at him. "I just wanted to say..uh, sorry for forcing you to join our team back in BFDIA...I know that was years ago, but I still feel pretty bad about it now..", Coiny apologized. Pin turned to TD as well. "I should also say sorry too..mostly when I said you weren't a real contestant..that was uncalled for of me..", she said with a sad look. Teardrop looked at the two with an understanding look, before shrugging and smiling.

You...forgive us?", Pin asked, and TD nodded. Coiny and Pin grinned, glad to have finally gotten that issue dealt with. "Aww, Coiny! That was so sweet!", Needle gushed. Coiny looked over at her, chuckling, while Pin rolled her eyes as Needle didn't even mention her. The three continued to talk, while TD mainly of course just listened to there conversations, although they could ask her some more questions in order for her to not feel left out. Finally, at about noon, Pin checked her watch, getting up. "Hey, I hate to leave so soon, but I need to get going. I have an appointment soon.", she said. TD got up as well, seemingly having to leave too. "That's fine, you two have been here long enough.", Coiny said, waving his hand slightly.

"Thanks for hanging out with us!", Needle said. "Of course! We should definitely do this again!", Pin said. The two said their goodbyes, before going down the hill, and the couple watched as Pin drove off with TD, likely dropping her off somewhere. Needle then grabbed the wine bottle, smirking at Coiny. "Okay..now that they're gone...", she started. Coiny smirked back. "Yep..it's wine time, baby..."
