"Basketball!!", Grassy cried as he ran down the hallway of the hotel, towards his favorite guardian. Basketball smiled, as she kneeled down, reaching her arms out towards the green haired boy, ready for the impact. Soon enough, the little boy ran into her, causing her to fall back a little and laugh. "Hi, buddy! You ready to go out and have some fun?", she asked with a smile. "Yay! Grassy loves fun!", the green-haired boy exclaimed. Basketball stood up, taking his hand. "Alright. Then let's waste no time, and go downstairs!" The two walked down the stairs, holding hands until they made it to the hotel's entrance, stepping outside.

"What do you want to do first?", Basketball asked. "Grassy wants to go to the playground!", the boy exclaimed with glee. "Alright then, we'll go there first!" Over about a month ago, Basketball has asked Two to make a playground for some of the younger contestants, especially Grassy, in which the Algebralien happily obliged, creating one in the matter of seconds. From that day forward, that playground was basically Grassy's favorite place to spend during his downtime. Once they reached the place, Grassy let go of Basketball's hand, excitedly running towards the slide, already climbing up it. Basketball smiled as she sat down on a nearby bench, keeping an eye on him, and watching him having fun.

After a few rounds of going down the slide, Grassy then ran over to the swing set, gripping his hands on the chains, and bouncing excitedly as he turned to Basketball. "Push Grassy, please!", he shouted, and she smiled, getting up and going over. She helped Grassy onto the seat a little more, then pushed him as he swung into the air. "Weeee!", he exclaimed, kicking his feet in the air. "Higher! Higher!" Basketball did so, giving the swing a more firm, but gentle push. The boy laughed as he kicked around some more, shouting, "Grassy's flying! Grassy's flying!" Basketball couldn't help but chuckle at Grassy's innocence, it was just too cute. It was honestly heartwarming that he could even gain the attention and respect from people like Blocky and Snowball.

From the corner of Basketball's eye, she could see someone now sitting down on the bench, though she wasn't too sure who. As Grassy was midway in the air, she turned, and saw that it was Leafy. Who else would wear that iconic sun hat with that familiar green ribbon. Something was off though, Leafy wasn't looking too happy, in fact, she was just staring at the ground, her hands clutching together. While Leafy had managed to reconcile with a lot of the veteran contestants, she of course still felt pretty guilty about the past, but not to mention the damage to her mental health due to all those years alone in isolation. Leafy still has noticeable bags under her eyes, which was definitely concerning, although she claimed it was fine.

Basketball kept staring, until Grassy broke the silence. "What's wrong, Basketball?", he asked, looking up at the woman as he was slowly swaying on the swing. "Uh..how about you go play in the sandbox? I see Leafy over there, and it looks like she could use some company.", she asked, looking down. Grassy smiled and nodded. "Okay!", he exclaimed, jumping off the swing, and dashing over to the sandbox. Basketball could see him clearly from the bench anyway, so she wasn't too worried. She stepped away, and walked towards the bench, Leafy didn't even seem to notice, still looking down.

"Leafy?", she asked, causing the green haired woman to snap her head up. "Wha..oh, hey Basketball..", she said, giving her a small smile. The ginger gave her one back, but it soon turned to a concerned frown. "Leafy...is..something wrong?" "Huh? No..I'm okay. I..just decided to sit here.", she simply said. Basketball could tell she was lying, something was obviously up. She slowly sat down next to Leafy, looking her in the eyes. "Hey..if something's bothering you, I'm all ears.", she reassured with a smile. Leafy studied her for a bit, before looking down, seemingly thinking about it. Basketball glanced away momentarily, seeing Grassy in the sandbox, trying to make a sandcastle. A small "Hhm", escaped her mouth, with a small smile, before turning back to Leafy.
