Tree stood by the window, sighing as he watched the outside. Sure enough, fall was coming, and that meant it was going to get chilly outside once more. He never really liked the cold, plus this meant his hair was gonna turn orange, not something he was really looking forward to either, he liked his green shade, but it's the natural cycle, so he couldn't complain. He observed the grass as a soft breeze pushed it, its color starting to look pretty dull. 'At the very least, it's not winter yet..', he thought.

His distracted gaze was interrupted when he spotted someone outside, sitting in the grass. Squinting to get a better look, he could see it was Bottle, how else would he have recognized that clear/light blue bushy ponytail. As he watched more, he was slightly confused. She wasn't even wearing anything to keep her warm, like a coat or sweater, she was just sitting out in her usual short t-shirt and skirt. It was almost like she wasn't even bothered by the cool wind. Tree smirked a little, rolling his eyes. She's so..unusual..', he thought. Despite her leaving Team Death Pact, he still interacted with her. Tree honestly didn't know why, he had his other friends, but he supposed she was just fun to be around.

Despite being only twenty one, Bottle still seemed like she was just a kid, and Tree couldn't help but feel a little envious about that. If only he didn't have to worry about anything, go on life without a care in the world, see the positives in everything. He had no idea how she does it, but it was sorta impressive. He decided to go down and hang around with her, he was kind of bored anyway. Moving away from the window, Tree made his way down the stairs, quickly grabbing his coat, before reaching the first floor of the hotel. Slipping it on, he glanced around the lobby, seeing Lightning, Robot Flower, and some of the others hanging around, before he opened the door, and left. He saw Bottle, still sitting unbothered. He made his way across the grassy field, calling out to her.

"Bottle!" She turned her head, smiling. "Oh, hi Tree! Lovely day, isn't it?" Tree stopped as he was now right next to her. For some reason, he had a slight weird feeling, but he brushed it off. "Uhh..I suppose? What are you..doing out here?", he asked as he sat down. "Just enjoying it out here! The wind feels good!", she simply responded, turning her head back to look at the horizon. "Aren't you cold..?" "Cold? What're you talking about?" "I-", Tree stopped, trying to process that. "You..you NOT cold..?" "Nope!", Bottle simply beamed. Tree threw his hands up in the air, dumbfounded. "I swear Bottle, if you could sit like that in this weather, then you probably wouldn't even be bothered like that in the snow!" Bottle giggled, turning to him again. "You're funny, Tree!" Once again, that funny feeling seemed to return when she said that.

"Uh..yeah..", he mumbled, resting his hands on the grass. That feeling was still occurring, it was almost like a tingly, tickling feeling in his stomach and chest area. He didn't know what was going on, but it certainly had something to do with Bottle, and not the cold. 'WHY am I even feeling like this near Bottle?', he thought. "Ooh! Leaves!" Bottle's voice snapped him out of his thoughts, as he turned to see her pick up a few leaves, some orange and red, plus a few green ones. Bottle turned to Tree, smiling as she gestured to the leaves. "Tree, look! It's Leafy's family!", she joked, laughing a little. Tree chuckled a bit, forcing a smirk. "Heh..yeah, good one." Bottle then picked up an orange leaf, admiring its vibrant color. "It's so pretty, I love fall, how about you, Tree?" Tree simply shrugged as he watched. "Ehh..not really." "Why not?"

"I'm just not really a fan of the chilly weather, I mean sure, the colors are beautiful and all, but I'm just more of a spring or summertime person.", he replied. "Oh..", was all Bottle said, before going back to looking at the leaves. Awkward silence filled the air, Tree wasn't too sure of what else he could say. His eyes traced back to Bottle, only he was looking at her arm. Studying her pale skin, he noticed many goosebumps on it, and reluctantly, he slowly placed his hand on it, immediately recoiling when he felt how cold her skin was. Bottle looked over at him in confusion. "Bottle! Geez! You're freezing!", he exclaimed. She just tilted her head. "Really? I don't feel very cold.", she said so causally. Tree stared at her. "How?! Oh my forest, you're gonna get hypothermia or something!"

"What's that?", she asked. Tree shook his head, he just couldn't believe Bottle wasn't taking this seriously. "You know what, no. Come here.", he motioned, the feeling once again returning, but he didn't care, he wanted to make sure his friend was warm. "Huh?" "Come here. I'm going to warm you up, no questions asked." Bottle still looked confused. "But really! I'm not col-" Tree ignored her, and pulled her close anyway, wrapping his arms around her, and rubbing his coat against her. Bottle look surprised for a moment, but she soon started to laugh. "Tree! That tickles!" Oh yeah, Bottle was quite ticklish. If anything, she was probably the most sensitive when it came to that, since almost anything touching her seemed to make her laugh. The funny feeling intensified inside Tree, mainly cause he oddly found it cute.

He continued to warm up Bottle's body, while she just kept breaking into a giggling fit. While it felt good to help his friend, Tree was starting to feel a little uncomfortable due to the strange sensation that refused to leave him alone. He frowned as he stopped, trying to collect himself. Bottle glanced at him, noticing his face. "What's wrong, Tree?", she asked, and he quickly looked at her. "Oh..uh..it's nothing." "Are you sure? Are you cold?" His eyes widened as she turned around. "What? No! I-" Bottle immediately glomped him into a big hug, smiling. "Return hug!", she exclaimed. Oh god, this was making it even worse. Tree gulped a little, as he felt himself starting to sweat. Bottle noticed his discomfort, let go a bit. "Tree? Are you okay?", she asked, concern in her voice, which was pretty rare giving her happy-go-lucky nature.

Tree sighed, as he decided to just spit it out, and tell her what's bothering him. "I don't know..I keep having this weird feeling..whenever I'm close to you..", he started, blush starting to appear on his face. "Really? Like what?", she asked. "Uhh..do you ever sometimes get this weird feeling in your chest..? Or stomach..it kinda feels a bit..tingly? Or like you..", he tried to explain, looking away. "Like you have butterflies inside you?", Bottle suggested. "Oh, yeah. Yeah, I suppose like that.", he said. Bottle smiled. "I love butterflies. They're so pretty, plus they tickle!", she exclaimed. "Uh..heh, yeah. I guess that's how I feel..around you for some reason." Bottle's eyes seemed to light up a bit. "Ooh! I think I know! You're in love!", she beamed.

"Oh god..really?", Tree muttered, his face now growing hot. Bottle giggled. "Somebody's all lovey dovey~!" "Holy-stop it, you're making this feel so goddamn corny right now..", Tree groaned, hiding his face in his hands. Bottle stopped, before looking down at him. "Do you really feel that way towards me?" He looked up, staring into her blue eyes. "I mean..I guess now that you put it that way..yeah..I suppose.." Bottle smiled, squealing and shot up, jumping up and down. Tree was still kinda speechless, but he just watched as she seemed to be celebrating this moment. She then sat back down. "Honestly..I never thought someone would really like me..", she admitted, smiling a little. "Well hey, you're pretty fun to be around. You're so positive all the time..I honestly admire that.", Tree said. "Yeah..it's just..I never even thought that you..would really like me that way." Tree turned away for a minute. "Well, to be fair, I've been inside you before..", he muttered, before immediately realizing what he just said.

Bottle turned to him. "What?", she asked, thankfully it seemed like she didn't understand. Tree's face went red, and he immediately stood up. "UH..on second thought, it's getting a bit too cold out here! I'm going back in!", he said quickly, swiftly running to the hotel. Bottle followed him. "Tree! Wait!"
