Coming Home

Baylin sat tapping her fingers nervously on her arm rest. She was finally coming home to Houston, Texas after spending the whole summer with her dad in LA, California. She was excited to come home and see her friends and family! But she was also a little nervous, but more excited! The fasten seatbelt sign turns on and the captain says they are landing in 10 minutes.

   The plane landed, Baylin walked off the plane and started toward the baggage claim. At the bag claim she met her mother who excitedly hugged and smothered her! "I missed you so much!" said Ashlyn (mother). "I missed you more" said Baylin. "are you excited to get home? I've got presents for you!" "Yes!" exclaims Baylin.

   In the car Baylin and her mom talk about starting school and sports and all the fun things they both did over summer. Baylin then asks if they are doing anything tonight "yes" says her mom I almost forgot to tell you we are going to sushi with the Neumanns, "fun!" Says Baylin. "You might want to dress to impress especially since Nelson will be there!" Says mom, "Haha" laughs Baylin. Baylin and Nelson had known each other since they were four years old and they were very close. Baylin had never caught feelings for Nelson before but little did she know that was all about to change...

   Baylin walked inside the house, her father Scott ran to her and gave her a huge hug telling her how much he missed her and that he was excited to play volleyball in the yard with her. (Baylin is 14 playing up on 17u club team). After chatting wither her dad she grabs a glass of water from the fridge, on the fridge was a picture of her from last year. she realized she look a lot different she was tanner, blonder, and most importantly she had a body to show off!

   "Time to go!" hollers mom, the family jumps into the car, they sit down at the restaurant. " Fashionably late as usual" says dad. after waiting for five or so minutes the Neumanns walk in. When Nelson walked through the door Baylin notice he looked a lot different he was taller, blonder, and a lot more filled out. She excitedly jumped up and ran towards Nelson, he gave her a big hug and said "I've missed you so much!" "Not as much as me" says Baylin. They all sit down laughter fills the air as Niles and Noah (Nelson's siblings) bicker and tease each other. Nelson and Baylin get to talking "Come to my RWE game it's the last of the season" says Nelson. "Those get kind of wild for me" says Baylin "Come on you know you'll be safe with me plus the whole team loves you and loves when you film!" Nelson had a hopeful look in his eyes Baylin just couldn't say no to. "I'll go!" says Baylin "Yes!" Nelson shouts as she hugs her tight. Baylin's heart started pounding and her cheeks got red, she thought to herself why am I being like this I've never felt this way about Nelson before.

   When it was time to leave Baylin's hand brushed by Nelson's she sworn she could have saw him blush but they just laughed it off as the walked out of the restaurant.
