Darcy

The four adventurers step outside to find the person who walked by the window of Amanda's room. "No one's here." Said Max. "We can't give up now! Paul's life depends on us!" Cried Alex. "Let's not get ourselves worked up." Said Justin. "Justin's right, we need to go over a few things before we can figure out how to find this villain." Said Amanda.

"Okay, so he or she hides in the shadows. What else?" Alex asked. "It can't be Nicollo again." Amanda said. "You mean the guy who was partners with Count Antonio you mentioned earlier during your story?" Justin asked. "That's the one." Said Amanda. "Did he used to hide in the shadows?" Max asked. "Yep, considering he was the man in black." Amanda said.

Confused expressions appear on the Russos faces. "There was a man in black too?" Asked Justin. "Uh-huh, and back when our kingdoms were marked with Z's, they were actually N's for Nicollo. He may have wanted revenge, but his main goal was to get Derek." Said Amanda. "He went after Derek? Oh no! You should tell us more about that someday." Said Max. "All in good time, Max. Right now, our top priority is to find the villain who left the poison in mine and Paul's room." Amanda said. "And that person is still nowhere to be found." Said Alex in an annoyed tone.

"I know! Let's go over every villain Chamberg's ever faced!" Max said. "How's that gonna help us?" Alex asked. "Yeah, none of those baddies had it out for Paul." Justin said. "That may be true, but Max might be on to something." Said Amanda. Justin raises an eyebrow. "You don't say." He said. "There's Rothbart, Clavius, Zelda, Count Antonio, Nicollo, Fang, Queen Wixom, and King Ivan. Most of which are dead, two punished for crimes, and one redeemed. But you're right, Justin, they never had it out for Paul, so that won't help us." Amanda said.

"Nothing can help you now!" Said a female voice. "Who said that? Show yourself!" Said Alex. A woman wearing a deep blue gown appears from the shadows and gives the four adventurers an evil smile. "Who are you?" Asked Justin. "The name's Darcy." The woman said. "Alright, Darcy, were you the one who put the bottle of poison in my room?" Asked Amanda angrily. "So you want answers, eh? Very well then, let's go somewhere we won't attract unwanted attention." Said Darcy.

Though this woman seemed like trouble, the four adventurers follow Darcy to a place they won't attract any unwanted attention.
