Chapter 4

Lexi walked outside, looking for Josie "joshie?" they asked, "over here, Lexi," he said.

They walked over to the cows Joshie was milking "can I ask you something?" they asked, "anything," he said, "what's a dragon process?" they whispered, "we'll talk later did mom get you into school?" he asked, "yeah, she did can I help with the work?" they asked, "of course, you can milk the goats and brush the sheep," he said.

They took a silver bucket to the goats, petting a black one's head "I won't hurt you, I promise can I milk you?" they bowed.

The goat nodded as they sat down on a stool, milking the goat the black one nodded to the others as they lined up to be milked.

After they had milked the goats, they walked over, grabbed a brush, and sat by the sheep "I promise I won't hurt you," they said.

The sheep nodded as they brushed them until their vision became blurry sharp nails came out of their fingers and they gripped the sheep, making blood come out of the sheep "Lexi, you need to run they're coming for you," she said, "who" they asked. "wolves their hunting you; you need to run, my princess, run before they kill half the village" she said, "who are you?" they asked, "your mother your true mother now leave" she said, "LEXI! Fuck LEXI MOM DAD" he screamed.

Lexi woke up later in bed with bandages on their face and arm. "Momma? Papa? Joshie?" they asked.

The door to the room opened their family ran over to get her "see what happened?" she asked, "I had a vision it caught me off guard I'm sorry I hurt the sheep I held on to it too hard before I fell," they said, "Lexi, it's okay will get more sheep just glad your okay sweetie," he said. "yeah papa I'm a strong kid just a few bumps and bruises I just need to heal," they said, "of course, sweetie will let you rest you just scared us good when joshie got us," she said, "thank you, big brother," they said.

There was Mom and dad left the room, so it were just Lexi and joshie "your mom was warning you, wasn't she?" he asked, "how do you know all this stuff, joshie?" they asked, "it's hard to explain," he said, "try me because you may be older than me but how would you feel being told your a long list process after all this time" they growled.

He looked at them as they blared smoke through their nostrils "okay, your mother, the queen, came to me like she just did to you," he said, "and what did she say?" they asked, "that a dragon fae child would show up at some point that child was her daughter she says she's been watching your whole life and knew where you were going and what would happen," he said.

They were shocked "she knew I would come, but why?" they asked, "I don't know, she just told me to protect them, whoever they were, so I will always protect you, but we've grown so much together, Lexi, I think of you as my little sister who get's into trouble messing things up I want to love and protect you have fun with you i love you Lexi" he says, "come here," they say.

Joshie climbed into the bed as they held him close "I love you too, big brother" they said.

They fell asleep seeing someone "haha, we finally found you, little princess you've chosen to lay low in this wonderful place, but you know we will find you, you give off too much power like that boy with you; you two are too reckless who knew we'd find a village half-full of dragons? Our master's orders were to bring you alive, but he didn't say we couldn't have some fun but we will torture that boy first after all, he is a royal guard dog marked by your mother he's as powerful as you, little princess cone-on boys; let's have some fun, hah," he said.

They woke up in sweat and tears. "Joshie, I had another bad dream," they said, 'what about this time," he asked, "the wolves attacked, and I couldn't stop them they were going to hurt you, and I couldn't do anything I'm so weak, but I've never needed to use my dragon or fae powers I want to be happy with you and Momma and Papa," they said. "it's okay; calm down we won't let them attack I promise, don't you worry calm down, your safe, rest mom will probably let you stay home from school today because of your injuries if you're still in pain," he said.
