real life.

ELIANA WAS LAYING IN BED, when all of a sudden she heard yelling downstairs. being the curious person she was, she went down to go check.

"WHERE IS SHE?" she heard the person yell. she knew by the voice, it was an older male.

"GET OUT!" she heard her aunt yell back. quick to defend her aunt, she got closer to the voices.

"marie, what's going on?" eliana said to her aunt, causing both of the people's heads to turn.

"just the person i was looking for." the male she didn't recognize said.

"i don't know who you are or why you're looking for me but leave me alone." eliana said, bringing her defenses down.

catching her off guard, the figure made his way towards her. eliana thought quick on her feet and took out her phone, dialing 911. she then made a run for it out the back door. eliana turned her head and realized the man was chasing after her.

"this is 911, what's your emergency?"

"please help, my name is eliana romero and this man is chasing after me. i made it to the end of north street. im still running towards the church, please help me." eliana said to the 911 dispatcher.

"okay eliana if you can hide, please do, stay on the phone with me. police are on their way."

she was out of breath, she has been running for what feels like forever, never stopping. she assumed this was the guy who wanted to harm her and eliana wanted to take no chances in being caught.

she heard police sirens in the distance, seeing the male figure running away from her. as the police got closer, they stopped the car, immediately hopping out and running towards the man.

she crossed her fingers and prayed that they would catch him. after 10 minutes, the police came back with the man in handcuffs.

the other police officer walked up to her, offering his hand out to her. "thank you for catching him. i was so scared." eliana said to him.

"you're safe now. we got him and he won't be released anytime soon. he'll be there for life."

eliana felt her life was finally okay. she wouldn't have to live in fear anymore. she could do anything without the fear of being hurt or even worse.

she walked to the police car, staring the man dead in the face. "this isn't over." the man mouthed to her before the officer drove away.

eliana was taken back to her aunt's house and when she walked in, she realized she was on the phone with someone.

"ellie it's your mom. she wants to talk to you." her aunt marie handed her the phone.

"hey mom."

"ellie, marie just told me what happened? are you okay?" her mom said frantically.

"yeah im okay. the guy saw me and chased me for a few miles, they caught him." eliana said to her mom.

"that's great honey. i'll come and pick you up tomorrow."

eliana ended the phone call and went upstairs to take a shower. after 30 minutes, she got out and looked at phone seeing nick's face lighting up the screen.

"hey nick what's up?"

"hey i haven't heard from you in a couple hours, i was worried." hearing nick was worried about her fluttered her heart.

"well im guessing the man who wants me dead found me again and he was here. i heard him and my aunt yelling downstairs and i went to go look. he ended up chasing me for a few miles."

"oh my god, eliana that's crazy. do you recognize him?"

"no i have never seen him before. luckily the police caught him but he said something scary to me while he was in the police car."

"what did he say?"

"this isn't over."

eliana saw nick's eyes go wide, "but it has to be he's been arrested."

"i know i think he was just saying that to scare me."

nick nodded his head in agreement. the pair talked for a hour before eliana decided it was time for bed.
