Sunoo looks at Jungwon, with raised eyebrows. Jungwon goes to open his mouth before stopping himself. After a bit of hesitation, he decides not to tell Sunoo.. at least not yet..

...𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘰𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘥.. 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴 Jungwon thinks to himself, before shaking his head.

"...where's mom..?" He asks instead, deciding to just tell their mom about Y/n instead.

Sunoo looks at Jungwon with raised eyebrows. "Why do you assume I know where mom is? She's always out doing whatever it is she does.." Sunoo says, crossing his arms.

"Right.. okay, well, thanks for the help anyway, Sunoo.." Jungwon says, sounding somewhat grateful. Sunoo looks at Jungwon with slightly narrowed eyes before just leaving without saying anything. Jungwon looks at Sunoo's fading figure before letting out a sigh and sitting on his bed. He looks around his room and lays on his bed before the sound of something knocking off catches him off guard.

He quickly sits up and looks around his room before his eyes land on a fallen book from his bookshelf. He looks at it with squinted eyes, confused before speaking. "Huh? How'd that fall?"

He slowly gets up and walks towards the book, noticing that it's open to a random page in the book. He picks it up and looks at the page closely, noticing that certain words in the page are underlined. He reads them in order, realizing that they form a sentence.

The sentence reads: 𝘎𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯

He rereads the sentence over and over again before he finally puts 2 and 2 together. "Y/n... she wants me to go to the library? What could the library possibly have on her?" Jungwon mutters to himself before he closes the book and puts it back on his shelf. He then turns and quickly walks to his door. He then opens it and pokes his head out, looking around to make sure no one sees him. Once he makes sure the coast is clear, he opens the door more, just enough for him slip through and close the door behind him. He then starts to make his way to the library in the castle, passing by any of the maids and servants he sees.

Once at the doors of the library, he takes a deep breath, hoping no one's in it. Then, he slowly opens the doors and is relieved to see no one there.

He slowly walks in, closing the doors behind him as he looks around the library.

"My god.. it's been so long since I've been in here.." he says to himself, quietly, as he looks around the place, taking everything in. The decor, the ambience, the dark colors... nothings really changed about this place.. yet he feels different in it... he feels overwhelmed... Probably since it's the first time in years he's stepping into the library...

He quickly gets over his initial reaction to the place and quickly walks towards one of the large bookcases. Engraved at the top of the bookcase in big letters are the words "HISTORY", just what he needed. He runs his fingers over the spins of the books as he looks for the book he's looking for. After a few seconds of looking, his eyes finally land on just the book he needed. He grabs it and looks at the cover, feeling it over. It's a dark blue vintage book cover with the title on it.

𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐉𝐎𝐊𝐎 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐃𝐎𝐌... just what he was looking for..

He opens it up and skims through the first few pages of it before his eyes land on a page that catches his eye. He skims over the first few words before he stops at a certain sentence.

"𝖡𝖺𝖼𝗄 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗇, 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖲𝖺𝗆𝗃𝗈𝗄𝗈 𝖪𝗂𝗇𝗀𝖽𝗈𝗆 𝗐𝖺𝗌 𝗍𝗁𝗈𝗎𝗀𝗁𝗍 𝗍𝗈 𝖻𝖾 𝖼𝗎𝗋𝗌𝖾𝖽 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗉𝗅𝖺𝗀𝗎𝖾𝖽 𝖻𝗒 𝖺 𝗏𝖾𝗇𝗀𝖾𝖿𝗎𝗅 𝗌𝗉𝗂𝗋𝗂𝗍. 𝖳𝗁𝖾𝗒 𝗍𝗋𝗂𝖾𝖽 𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋𝗒𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗍𝗈 𝗀𝖾𝗍 𝗋𝗂𝖽 𝗈𝖿 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗌𝗉𝗂𝗋𝗂𝗍, 𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗇 𝗌𝖺𝖼𝗋𝗂𝖿𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗉𝖾𝗈𝗉𝗅𝖾 𝗍𝗈 𝗂𝗍, 𝗒𝖾𝗍 𝗇𝗈𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋 𝗐𝗈𝗋𝗄𝖾𝖽. 𝖳𝗈 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝖽𝖺𝗒, 𝗇𝗈 𝗈𝗇𝖾 𝗄𝗇𝗈𝗐𝗌 𝗐𝗁𝗈 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗏𝖾𝗇𝗀𝖾𝖿𝗎𝗅 𝗌𝗉𝗂𝗋𝗂𝗍 𝗂𝗌 𝗇𝗈𝗋 𝖽𝗈 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗒 𝗄𝗇𝗈𝗐 𝗐𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗌𝗉𝗂𝗋𝗂𝗍 𝗐𝖺𝗇𝗍𝗌."

That part catches Jungwon off guard. He thought it over before thinking something. 𝘐𝘴 𝘠/𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵? 𝘐𝘧 𝘴𝘰, 𝘸𝘩𝘺? Jungwon thinks to himself, but he decides to keep reading.

For the next few hours, he reads about his kingdom's history and realizes that the kingdom isn't as he thought he was. The Samjoko Kingdom committed massacres against other kingdoms, they looted, they pillaged, they've done so much... he can't believe it... his own kingdom has committed such heinous crimes...

For the longest time, he's never decided to look into his kingdom, having been raised into thinking his kingdom is all sunshines and rainbows and being advised by his servants to not look into the kingdom. Actually, all of the brothers have been advised not to look into the kingdom. At the time, they were young, they didn't realize how suspicious it was, they just did as told, but now that Jungwon's older, he realizes just how suspicious it was.

He continues to read the book, but just when he gets to a part even remotely related to Y/n, he gets interrupted by a voice.

"Jungwon?" The voice says. He glances to the owner of the voice and sees Heeseung. Heeseung stands there, staring at him, albeit, a little dumbfounded.

"Why are you in the library?"

Hey! Rio here!

So sorry for the late chapter, it's just been too hot in my house for me to be able to do anything. Also, when I was looking up mythical creatures in Korean culture, I came across the Samjoko, which is a three legged crow that means sun and is a guardian of bad spirits I believe and so I thought it would be a perfect Kingdom name for my Kingdom!
