Friday, August 12th marked the eve of the Jeonju Worldwide Indie Music Festival, sponsored by the LOC Group. Although the main musician survival event was scheduled to start the next day on the 13th, the atmosphere was already buzzing with excitement from the 12th. This was likely due to the impressive lineup of invited singers, especially for the pre-festival event on the 12th and the closing ceremony on the 15th.

The members of the L&S band arrived in Jeonju a day before their performance, on the 12th, for rehearsals. While rehearsals could have been done on the 13th, they wanted to be fully prepared for the important festival.

"Since rap is our secret weapon, Sanghyun, during rehearsal, focus on checking the sound and don't rap. If there's nothing specific to decide, just sing a song," said Bang Min-sik.

At Bang Min-sik's instruction, Sanghyun had to come down from the rehearsal stage singing a song he hadn't even thought about.

"Ugh, embarrassing."

"What's embarrassing?"

Miju, who was adjusting the sound balance, handed Sanghyun a bottle of water from below the stage.

"Ugh, I sang so poorly."

"So what? Other vocalists also sing roughly."

"Other vocalists show that they sang roughly, but I look like I tried my best. If I knew it would be like this, I would have sung roughly too..."

"Are you craving for being a vocalist now?"

Sanghyun shook his head vigorously and gulped down the water. Meanwhile, Miju was called back to the stage by Bang Min-sik. Something seemed to be wrong.

"There are so many people."

Sanghyun looked around.

Everywhere he looked, there were banners, tents, and other advertisements with the logo of the sponsor, LOC. And amidst it all, the place was packed with people. Despite the hot weather, there were a lot of people.

"We should have this many people when we perform too."

The special stage at the Jeonju Comprehensive Stadium, where the Worldwide Indie Music Festival was taking place, was surrounded by people within a 1km radius.

Numerous street vendors were present, and the park walkways were filled with families enjoying outings and couples on dates.

It was an enviable sight.

"I should go on a trip with Sangmi someday."

"Wouldn't it be more fun to bring the whole 888 crew instead of just going with Sangmi? Everyone's close with Sangmi, and the lively atmosphere would be better. But then again, wouldn't that make it a family trip? Should Sangmi and I go alone?"

As Sanghyun pondered suddenly about the idea of a trip, L&S's rehearsal came to an end. Since they were participating in a competition with several other bands the next day, everyone felt like they were just playing their instruments and coming down.

They say a master hides 30% of their skills, right? "I hid 90% today." Well, considering I sang so poorly.

"What are you thinking?"

"Oh, Min-sik hyung. You're sweating in this heat."

"Sweating? No big deal."

Min-sik wiped his sweat and grabbed his guitar. At that moment, bassist Yong-jun put his hand on Sanghyun's shoulder.

"Oh, it's hot. Hey, Sanghyun."
