Lexi went home with Joanie, who got yelled at by their parents "Momma, I'm sorry I was hiding from a bully" they said.

She calmed down "sweetie, it's okay, but you worried us to death your teacher called us worried they couldn't find you," she said.

They hugged their momma close "go do something safe," she said, "okay, momma," they said.

They walked to their and Joshies room "hey Lexi, I got something for you," he said, "really, what?" they asked.

Joshie handed them the necklace and a book "I grabbed it from Mom and Dad's room last night a Dragonair needs their jewel, and this is a book about our kind, our history; learn at your own pace," he said, "thank you, joshie," they said.

They took the book and put the necklace back on, opening it "once upon a time, a baby was born into a world they didn't know what she was they didn't know what to do with her power, so they left her in the woods, and a dragon took her to care for them until they were older. The dragon gave them their power, showing them how to use the power to become strong enough to ride up in the ranks soon, she became a royal guard stronger than the rest. The queen had no airs she chose her to be her succeeder, but her mother was gone, the dragon that raised her just like that and thus the dragons became famous for their mighty queen. They went to war battles. Still, she became strong with her fiery spirit until she became ill with her first baby she was okay after giving birth to a dragon daughter, but it was too dangerous they hid her until the time was right to protect them to protect her," they read.

They closed the book, smiling "thanks, joshie," they said, "anytime, sis," he said.

They put the book down, falling asleep for the night, and were ready for the next day.

The next morning
Lexi got up, saw a scarf on their pile of clothes, smiled, took a yellow dress and white sweater and white underwear with the black scarf, put it around their neck, put on their boots, hid the necklace under the scarf, and walked to the kitchen "momma, can you braid my hair?" they asked, "of course, sweetie," she said.

Their momma braided their hair "momma, thank you for the scarf," they said, "of course, sweetie, anything for you," she said.

They ate breakfast, grabbed their bags, and walked out the door with Josh "mom made you a scarf," he asked, "yeah, she did do you like it?" They askedm "yeah, it looks adorable on you," he said.

They walked to school joshie's grip tightened on theirs "stay in class today, and I'll take care of your bully," he said, "okay, I promise I love you, joshie," they said.

He kissed her forehead as the bell rang, he let go of their hand.

They walked to class smiling, took their new seat in front, and took out their notebooks and pencils Mr. Nickolas smiled at them as he started discussing the day's lesson.

They took notes "does anyone know what six times seventy is?" he asked. "Is it 420?" they asked "excellent, Lexi," he said.

The bell rang "I'll see you all after lunch" he said.

Everyone got up as they stayed seated "Lexi, stay at lunch or stay here if you need," he said. "I just don't want him to touch me again," they said.

They smiled "I just want to stay here, away from Alex," they said, "you got your lunch that your mom made?" he aske, "yeah I do," they said, "okay then eat. I will just be grading papers" he said, "okay," they said.

They ate their lunch and threw it away in the trash "thanks, Mr. Nickolas," they said.

The bell rang, and the kids piked in the class again Alex stared at them, smirking, and walked to the back of his seat.
