Polar Opposites - Jinkook

The stress is eating Jin alive. Even though he's been working on that marketing and advertising campaign very hard, he still can't help but feel that he would be a laughing stock in front of the whole board! The closer the day of his presentation approached, the more nervous he became. Whenever he closed his eyes to sleep, he'd see everyone mocking his ideas.

Although Jungkook offered him his help but Jin declined. If he's going to do all this hard work, he doesn't want anyone else to get the recognition for it.

Jin was pacing around the living room and talking to himself, waiting for Jungkook to get dressed so they could go to the company. 

Jungkook comes out of his room, "Are you ready?" He asks Jin.

"No." Jin replies. "Is there a way we can reschedule the meeting?"

Jungkook chuckles, "No, you'll be fine. Come on." Jungkook says as he holds Jin's shoulders and pushes him towards the door.

During the entire ride to the company, Jin had his eyes glued to his laptop going through his presentation over and over again. Jungkook had been glancing at him from time to time without saying anything. 

Jungkook reached the company and parked the car in the parking lot. Jin was about to open the car door and step out when Jungkook suddenly held his hand to stop him. 

Jin looks at him with a puzzled look, "What?" He asks Jungkook.

Jungkook pulls Jin closer to him, he looks him in the eyes intently before closing the remaining distance between them, placing his hands on each side of Jin's face and his lips on Jin's.

Jin's eyes widen as he's surprised by the kiss, he feels Jungkook's lips nudging his and Jin reacts by opening his mouth, letting Jungkook's tongue in his mouth as he closes his eyes and kisses him back.

As soon as Jungkook broke the kiss, Jin opened his eyes and looked at him, trying to regulate his breathing. "What was that for?" Jin asked

Jungkook smiles at him, "Consider it my way of wishing you good luck." Jungkook replies to him.

"Make the wish longer next time." Jin says as he looks away from Jungkook.

Jungkook laughs out loud. His next move was to hold Jin's hands, Jin turned to look at him again.

"What?" Jin asks again.

"You've worked hard, I know you will absolutely nail your presentation if you don't let your nerves get the best of you. Don't think too much about it." Jungkook tells him.

Jin snorts, "Easy for you to say. After all, you're..." Jin trails off and looks at Jungkook. "You. You're you. They all believe in you already, they'd be impressed with anything you do!" Jin tells him.

"That's not true. The first time I ever stood in front of the board members I was scared shitless. I couldn't even say a couple of complete sentences. Honestly, I dreaded ever meeting these guys again. So trust me, I know exactly how you feel." 

Jin squints his eyes at him, "You? You were this nervous?"

"Nervous? I was about to pass out. I couldn't complete the presentation. Uncle Hyunwoo completed it in my place." Jungkook tells Jin.

"Really?" Jin asks as he's still unsure.

"Yup! So don't be like me. You've prepared a great presentation." 

"You don't know that, you haven't seen it yet."

  Jungkook scratches the back of his head, "Well actually..."
