I'm sitting here in the room feeling angry and embarrassed about what had happened yesterday. I was now busy watching TV. The show I was watching went on an ad break and I looked around at all the flowers and get well cards.

Nurse Davids come in and I glare at her. I'll get my revenge and it's gonna taste sweet.

"You can glare at me all you want it aint gonna help." She says and I roll my eyes. She then speaks again, "I can see you are very much loved. Look at all these flowers and cards you were sent and this aint even all of them."

I sat there thinking, "Could you give some of them to patients who haven't received anything. Please?"

She nods and smiles, "sho honey. What a beautiful thing to do?" I see her take the purple roses and stop her.

"Err... sorry but leave those. Those are from my boyfriend and they have a special meaning to the both of us." I explain and she nods. She takes a different bunch and leaves.

I then see a familiar face at the door and talking with the officer outside. I frown, "Beau? Don't tell me you drove up all the way here to see me."

He mocks shock, "Licia how can ya even ask me that? Of course I'm gonna come and see you. You were shot at." He comes closer and kisses my temple. "Anyway I aint here alone. I brought some other people to see you. Come on in ya'll."

I see two people I have seen in a long while. The young woman with her curly hair and light brown eyes smile at me. While the young man smirks when looking at me.

"Michelle! Jermaine! What are ya'll doing here? Aint ya'll supposed to be in school." they both frown at me.

Michelle then speaks, "Alicia how can you ask us that? We were extremely worried when Beau called us." she touches my hand we kiss each other's cheeks.

I still frown, "what about college? I don't need to tell you that it aint the same like high school."

Jermaine also comes closer, "don't worry, we'll handle it and one thing though. I gotta ask..." he then looks real serious, "what's with the new headscarf? Is it now in fashion for women wrap their hair with that now?" He then smiles and I punch him and mocks hurt. The other two laugh and I smile as well.

I look at Michelle and see she doesn't have that nerd look to her anymore. She's a beautiful young woman. I then remember something.

"Where's your boyfriend or don't the two of you go out anymore?" I ask.

Jermaine laughs and she rolls her eyes. She then speaks, "Blake and I are still going out. He's at college." She says and smiles that devious smile of hers.

"He doesn't know you're here?" I ask and she shakes her head. I then sigh, "Well you're still young. Play your games with him. Enjoy for them now cos they're gonna get old."

Her eyes narrow but Jermaine speaks before she says something, "well knowing him he probably figured it out already cos she switched off her phone. He's so crazy he'll probably show up here."

"Reminds me of someone." Beau says and I glare at him. He ignores my look and asks me about how I feel and what happened.

I sigh and start explaining to them what I know. Jermaine whistles and Michelle looks at me with worry. Beau is quiet and I know he's doing his detective thing cos I've seen Wayne with that same look on his face. I decided I don't want to talk about my situation anymore and ask them about their lives. They both light up with excitement.

I then realise since this ordeal. I'm actually feeling very happy and smile a genuine smile at them. We've got a mini family reunion going on here.
