*After an eventful day of Qualifying yesterday it is now time for race day. Dad comes rushing into your room swinging the door open.*
Christian: I hope your race suit fits because Sergio just called me and said he is sick and can't race it is now your time to shine.
Y/n: Omg really this is what I have been wanting.
Christian: If you do well you might permanently replace Sergio and get what you have always wanted.
*you excitedly jump out of bed and get your stuff ready. You then get loaded into the car and you head down to the track. Your jealous brother is sitting in the back mumbling something under his breath. As soon as you get to the garage you go running to find Max*
Y/n: Max it looks like I finally get to see what it is like to be your teammate.
Max: Let's see if you can even keep up and hold the position that Sergio got for you.
*you do your usual lap around the paddock but this time you accidentally bump into Lando *
Y/n: I am so sorry.
Lando: It's ok y/n things happen. I am so excited that you have an opportunity to show everyone how good you are and make everyone jealous.
Y/n: Thanks Lando let's see if you can keep up.
Lando: I think it will be the other way round. Let's see if you can keep up with me.
*you both start gigging as you walk away to go back to your garage. The nerves start to kick in as you get into the car. The nerve then settles down when you hear your dad's voice *
Christian: Let's go for it y/n we have a good starting spot and good tyres.
*The nerves start to kick in again as you watch other drivers pulling up ready to start behind you. You get an amazing start and you go wheel to wheel with Max around the first corner. Max then starts to pull away and just slips in front of you and Lando is right behind you.*
Christian: Let's start picking up the pace y/n to try and pull away from Lando.
Y/n: Copy that.
*You start to speed up and pull away, the laps feel like they are going forever, but there are now 10 laps left and Lando is 5 seconds behind.*
Christian: Good job y/n there are now 2 laps left and you are still in 2nd place with Lando 5 seconds behind.
Y/n: Copy that let's push till the end.
*you get in the zone and push as hard as you can. On the last lap, you set the fastest time and you come in second. You made history by being the first woman to race in Formula 1 and you are the first woman to podium in Formula 1.*
Christian: Great job y/n that was an excellent race I guess we know who will be racing for us from now on.
Y/n: Thank you so much, Dad.
*You, Lando and Max celebrate on the podium. Lando comes running after you as you are walking away wiping champagne off your face he taps you on the shoulder so you quickly spin around.*
Lando: Hey that race was amazing y/n do you want to come out to the bar with me to celebrate?
Y/n: Sure
Lando: Great go get changed and meet me at the McLaren garage and I will take you.
Y/n: Ok see you soon.
*you both walk away to go and get ready. You are now ready to go and meet up with Lando and as you start to walk away Max calls out to you. When you spin around you see Max standing with your dad and brother.*
Max: Where are you going dressed all fancy?
Y/n: I am going to the bar to celebrate with Lando.
Christian: OK be back at the hotel by 11:00 because we have to catch an early flight to Australia tomorrow.
*you wave bye to Max, your dad and your brother. You then go inside the McLaren garage to find Lando sitting there waiting for you.*
Lando: You ready?
Y/n: Yep my Dad says I have to be home by 11:00 just warning you.
Lando: That's fine, are you catching an early flight as well?
Y/n: Yeah I am.
Lando: Now that I come to think of it I am going in your private jet with you. Your dad invited me yesterday.
Y/n: Oh yay
*you say all excited*
Lando: You seem excited.
Y/n: yeah well there is something I need to tell you but I don't want to make things weird between us.
Lando: What is it y/n?
Y/n: Well I have sort of had a crush on you for a little bit.
Lando: That's not weird at all, I think it is cute.
Y/n: I also wanted to let you know I can get really bad panic attacks when in large crowds.
Lando: That is ok I will be here to protect you.
