"Somi, the Manoban family's elders were able to endure your schemes." Lisa narrowed his eyes.

His cold and heavy tone did not contain the slightest hint of warmth. "But since you've shown the desire to kill Jennie, I won't tolerate you! Servants, drag Somi away! Blind her eyes and break all her bones until she is doomed to be paralysed for a lifetime. Arrange for her to be shot to death much later!"

"Yes, Sir." The bodyguards guarding by the door immediately stepped forward to drag Somi out of the house.

Huang Zhishu turned pale in fright. She cried out in a flustered state. "No, Lisa, please have mercy..."

Lisa's sharp gaze landed on her and Huang Zhishu immediately shrunk back in fear.

Kai understood that even God himself wouldn't be able to save Somi now. He supported his mother's frail figure. "Mom, these are the consequences of Somi's actions."

"Cousin, how could you be this cruel..." Somi was now truly frightened. "Even if you want me to die, you can shoot a bullet to my head and end my pain immediately. Why must you torture me like this?"

"Do you know where Ji Qing, the maid, is right now? Her corpse is in the ocean for the sharks to feast on. You hypnotised Ji Qing in an attempt to blind Jennie. You then sent Wang Xun to hit Jennie with his car in an attempt to leave her dead or atleast paralyze her." Lisa's gaze conveyed his murderous intent. "Wang Xun has already confessed that you were the one who instructed him to do everything. I'm going easy on you by returning your schemes to you. To think you still have the face to beg for mercy..."

Somi was pale, however, she refused to give up. "Cousin, I was wrong. I beg you. Please consider me as a member of the Manoban family and show me some mercy..."

Lisa instructed coldly. "Seal her lips. Take her away."

A bodyguard immediately retrieved a white cloth from his pocket and stuffed it into Somi's mouth. He then dragged her out to the front yard. Somi's expression was filled with despair.

"Wait." Lisa suddenly spoke up heavily.

A hint of hope flashed past Somi's gaze. Was he willing to show her some kindness?

"Even if Somi is paralysed and blind, make sure that she is carefully watched. Don't let her escape. Take good 'care' of her at all times of the day! I want her remaining days to be worse than death!" Lisa instructed coldly.

"Yes, Sir." The bodyguards immediately left to carry out his orders.

Huang Zhishu fainted from the immense heartache.

Kai was trembling from head to toe and barely managed to control himself from begging for mercy on his sister's behalf.

Somi was crying silently in despair. The bodyguards dragged her into a business car parked in the yard.

"My mother is feeling unwell. I'll send her back to the old mansion." Kai supported Huang Zhishu out of the Yu Ting Villa.

Lee Jingyuan and Lee Dong were both extremely satisfied with Lisa's decision.

If Somi had succeeded with her evil schemes, by now, Jennie would be the one who was paralysed and blind.

They were unable to accept this, no matter what.

"Lisa, ah. I have nothing to worry about now that Jennie is with you." Lee Jingyuan spoke up. "In this period, Lee Xuan and I have been in the Yu Ting Villa troubling the both of you. We plan on returning to the Lee home to live from now on."

"That's right." Lee Dong, who was also Lee Xuan, spoke up. "It's been too long since I returned to the Lee home. I miss home."

"We're a family. You'll never trouble us." Lisa's expression softened slightly. "The Yu Ting Villa is Jenjen's home, as well as your home. As long as both of you wish to be here, you may come over any time."

"Good, good." Lee Jingyuan pushed Lee Dong's wheelchair and with the servants' help, they managed to leave in a car. In fact, they mainly wanted to give the young couple a little more time with each other.

Jennie and Lisa watched as the two of them left. She took in his stunning good looks from the side and felt her heart being filled with warmth.
