At the same time, Jennie appeared out of nowhere and pounced on Lisa to embrace him. Right before the shark could swallow them, she allowed the waves to sweep them away from it.

Jennie had picked up the life jacket that Lisa tossed away and was currently wearing it.

The shark was in immense pain from it's wounds. It shifted its body in anger. The sweep of its tail alone was akin to a blow received from over a thousand kilograms of weight.

At the same time, it tossed Lisa and Jennie further away from it.

Thankfully, the shark did not hit them. Otherwise, with its power, they were bound to become minced meat.

The ocean was deep and boundless. Jennie held onto Lisa tightly, fearing that they would be separated.

The shark located them accurately and swam rapidly towards them once more.

Jennie hurriedly removed her suit jacket and raised it up in the direction of the shark's mouth.

If anyone else had been floating in the ocean whilst holding onto someone, they definitely wouldn't be able to put much force into their throw.

Jennie, however, was different. She activated her special powers and the jacket immediately wrapped around the shark's top lip.

She then quickly took Lisa's jacket away and tossed it over. It wrapped firmly around the shark's bottom lip.

With it's mouth firmly held shut, the shark made for a much more pleasant sight.

It began to writhe around in the water in discomfort, in an attempt to shake the clothing off.

However, Jennie had relied on her powers to ensure they would cling against its skin. It did not fall off despite its desperate attempts.

She truly wished that she could fire a few shots against the shark. Unfortunately, the guns had been soaking in the water and could no longer be used.

Jennie was worried they would be injured by the shark's movements. She held onto Lisa tightly and swam backwards.

The shark had already suffered a serious injury. All they had to do was to hold on for a little longer and they would be able to escape from this situation alive.

To their surprise, the shark appeared to have located its target again. It suddenly swung it's enormous tail towards them.

They were nearly hit.

Lisa had choked on a few mouthfuls of water. He spoke up with some difficulty. "There's a folding knife in my pocket..."

"That's great!" The folding knife she usually kept on her had sunk into the ocean after it pierced through the shark's back. She had found its loss a great pity.

She searched his pockets for the knife and unfolded it to three times its original length.

Her gaze turned cold. The knife went flying once more into the shark's lips, cutting through its organs.

It was a pity that the fish's body was too strong. The knife remained stuck in it's stomach and did not pierce through cleanly.

The shark was in immense pain. It writhed heavily in the ocean, sending the water splattering all around itself.

Several minutes later, its movements finally ceased. Its enormous body remained half-afloat in the water.

Lisa took in Jennie's stunning, pale complexion and was astonished. He struggled to believe that she had successfully killed an enormous shark whilst protecting him and keeping them afloat.

He had seen the way the two knives had cut the shark earlier. Her strength was way beyond what a normal human could achieve!

Jennie did not wish to spend time explaining things to him for now. She tugged at Lisa's arm and quickly swam towards the shark's carcass. "I'm not sure when we will find land. We need to obtain some food."

If they ended up afloat for several days, they would starve to death.

Besides, he had suffered a serious injury and needed some food.

It was difficult for her to swim while dragging someone along with her in the ocean..
