FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AFTER THAT, COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ANASTASIA AND HER SISTER WAS SCARCE. Anastasia had no interest in speaking to Narcissa after what her boyfriend had done, especially when they were caught making out at breakfast and yelled at by Professor McGonagall, who promptly split them apart.

Narcissa had tried to start a conversation with her, but Anastasia had just pushed her away. She was mad, and she had better things to focus on.

As Anastasia, Pandora, and Rory, wander down the corridor, they talk in quiet conversation about the Quidditch match from the night before. They were still reeling over Ravenclaw's win against Gryffindor.

Right as they turn the corner, they come face to face with Sirius and his friends. She'd been formally introduced, of course, but she hadn't spoken to them often.

Upon seeing her, Sirius broke out into a grin, running over to ruffle her blonde curls. "Hey, Anastasia!" He greeted. "We were just off to breakfast, would you like to walk with us?"

Anastasia turned to Rory and Pandora, who both shrugged. "Sure!" She accepted, turning back to Sirius with a smile. The younger trio followed as they continued walking through.

As they walked, James caught up to Anastasia, falling in step with her. "Hello." He winked. "I think you need a nickname." He announced. "Anastasia is very long, you need something nice and easy, to roll off the tongue? Do you have any already?"

"Uh," Anastasia stumbled. She liked James- but he did intimidate her. He was older than her, and quite popular too. "Well... my sisters call me Annie, sometimes." She answered. "My mother calls me Anya, when she's feeling extra nice."

James nodded thoughtfully. "Annie is sweet, but not very creative. We can do better, I think." He paused, deep in thought. He shook his head suddenly. "Nah, not that..." He mumbled. "How about, Little Sirius? Or... Tiny Padfoot? Ooh! I know! Little Stasia? How do you like that?"

Anastasia nodded with a shy shrug. "I don't really mind." She said. "Little Stasia is fine with me, I suppose."

James cheered, but was soon interrupted by Professor McGonagall, who tapped him on the shoulder with a scroll of parchment.

"Mr. Potter, please keep it down. I hope you and Mr. Black haven't forgotten about your detention tonight. You are to both be in my office by 6pm, sharp. If you do happen to forget, same as you did the last time, I will make you stay twice as long and come back next week. You lot best be off now, or you'll be late for class." She instructed, leaving the boys no time to respond as she began to walk away.
