(Caleb's POV)

All this waiting was starting to get to me. "I can tell you are frustrated. Would you mind if I tell you a story that might ease your nerves?" Marth said.

"Go ahead," I tapped my fingers on the arm of the couch. Marth took a seat next to me.

"I assume you know who my sister Elice is?"

 "Yes," I replied.

He cleared his throat. "I was only fourteen years old when the kingdom of Gra invaded. Elice offered herself as a sacrifice to let me escape. Gra took her and held her prisoner for two years. During that time I was devastated, but I remained strong so I could one day retake Altea and rescue my sister. I trained hard and strong so that when the day came I could kick Gra out of my homeland."

He took a breather. "Eventually that day did come. With the help of my friends, we retook Altea and saved Elice. I cannot begin to express how happy I was. I had finally saved my sister. I finally got to see her beautiful face after two years."

He laid a hand on my shoulder. "And I know you can do the same with your sister. Granted, it has only been one day compared to two years, but my point still stands."

I smiled, though only slightly. "Thank you, Marth."

"It was no problem," the Hero-King smiled back.

One of the gunmen outside suddenly spoke. "Caleb, come out with your hands up."

"Caleb, don't leave us, don't leave me," Monika begged.

"Sorry everyone, but I have to go." I laid a hand on the door handle. "I don't want you to get shot."

Monika held me close. "I won't let you!" she cried. Natsuki and Yuri pulled her away and held her back.

"I'm really sorry, I'll see you again, don't you worry." I kissed her gently and walked away with a reassuring smile.

 "Caleb! Caleb, please, no! NO!"

I left the house and closed the door on Monika's cries. The gunmen herded me into their car, where they drove me to the college. They delivered me to a dorm room that belonged to a man I hated.

"Caleb, welcome to the party!" Henry said cheerfully.

"You bastard! Where's Robyn!?" I lunged at Henry, but his hired guns held me back.

"Wow, so quick with the insults, eh?" He waved his hand and my armed escort left us. "I'll show you where your precious sister is," he laughed darkly.

(Robyn's POV)

Henry came back down into the boiler room. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw who he brought with him. "Caleb?!"

"Robyn!" He ran to me and hugged me. I would've returned the gesture, but my hands were tied, literally.

"I'm so glad you're alright," Caleb said.

"It will take a little more than a kidnapping to faze me." I pressed my forehead against his and smiled.

Henry chuckled in the background. "Oh, the reunion is delicious."

Caleb turned around to face him. "Let her go!"

"Funny. I was planning on doing the opposite." Henry punched my brother in the gut. He dragged him over to another chair sitting by a boiler and tied him to it. Caleb groaned and slouched over from the pain.
