Black Butler: A Visit to the Phantomhive Ball

Chapter 1 - The Invitation

Y/Ns POV:

80:32 morning

Good morning my lady, its time to wake up says my butler, Alice as she opens the curtains to let the bright sunlight in my bedroom which hits my face.

Five more minutes I groaned as I cover my face with my blanket.

Come on My Lady, you have a busy day today says Alice as she pours tea in my teacup.

Fine I said as I slowly remove my blanket and get up.

Did you sleep well my lady? says Alice as she gives me the tea cup.

Yes, what about you? I said as I sipped my tea.

I slept very well thank you she replied.

As I finished drinking my tea, I got up to begin my morning routine. Alice starts making my bed while Im doing my morning routine. I wash my face, brush my teeth and after Alice finished making my bed, she helped me bathe, dress me up and styled my hair.

After I finished my morning routine, Me and my butler head down to the dining room where I have my breakfast with my parents.

Good morning my dear said my mother as she saw me walking to the dining table.

Ah, Y/N good morning said my father as Alice pulled me a chair for me to sit down.

Good morning I replied.

Ah, Good morning Alice my father said.

Good morning Lord F/n and good morning M/n replied Alice.

As I sat on the chair, I started to eat my breakfast. After Id finished my breakfast, I begin my daily schedule.

3:34pm afternoon

As time passed, it was afternoon. While Im having my afternoon tea with my parents, we heard a knock on the door.

Ill go get it says Alice as she went to answer the door.

After a few seconds, Alice arrived holding a silver tray with a letter.

What is it Alice? my mother asked questionably.

One of the maids said that they have received an invitation says Alice.

Thank you Alice, let me see says my father as he takes the golden decorative envelope from the tray.

He examined the envelope from top to bottom, which was beautifully decorated with a gold border and a wax stamp with the Phantomhive crest seal on it. He opens the envelope and the letter reads:

Dear Earl F/l/n,

I am formally inviting you and your family to the Phantomhive Ball this evening at 7pm to celebrate the Anniversary of the Phantomhive Manor and its history. It would be a pleasure if you could attend and be there on time. Dress formally as well.

What is it? my mother asked curiously.

Its Ciel Phantomhive says my father.

Ciel Phantomhive? You mean that boy with an eye patch on his eye? My mother said in surprise.

'Father, whats happened? I said confusingly.

The Earl Ciel Phantomhive invites us all to the ball today at 7pm Says my father.

A ball, today? my mother says in surprise and she takes the letter to read what it says.

Really? A ball? Today? Now? I said. I've always wanted to visit the Phantomhives so bad!
