"(Y/N)! Don't cry.. please.." Emma whined as she pushed past Norman, and hurried over to me. She crouched to where I was and started rubbing my back softly, the palm of her hand in a circle motion, as I wiped my crocodile tears away. Norman and Ray watched in pity, and even Norman took a step closer to see if I was alright.
"You.. don't have to worry. We'll be able to escape together, all of us. All we're asking for is your help.." Emma pleaded to me, as she took my hands in hers, she hand a firm grip but not hard enough to make me wince in pain.
"You're smart and have the brains, and it'd be great if you could help us plan things out." Norman chimed, unsure of what to say, as it was an awkward situation they were in. Ray lagged behind, arms crossed.
He wasn't buying her reaction, but he wouldn't speak about his suspicions still. It would bring attention to him, and he didn't want to let on that he was a traitor.
"You guys wouldn't leave me behind?" I asked, as I stood up slowly, letting go of Emmas left hand, but clasping on to her right still. Emma also had a way with words, but I knew this wasn't the safe option to take. I would let Mama know of this later.
"Of course not! You're family to us, no matter what age you came here. And I'm not gonna leave any family behind, I stay truthful to my word." She smiled at me.
She was so calm, so confident, so selfless. How could someone be so sure about something they won't even know work?
Even though Mama was willing to help me live, I felt a twang of guilt to throw the kids who have never hurt me under the bus, and I could feel genuine tears fill up in my eyes.
Norman came up and patted my shoulder, next to Emma. He felt bad for her, and anyone Emma cared about as much as this he wouldn't question her intentions. Ray only examined the scene, arms crossed as he scoffed and walked back to the house.

Emma and Norman questioned Rays disappearance, but didn't push it more. They had spent the time of free time they had left explaining to me their plan of the escape. My head throbbed in pain, but I could only swallow back the pain and plaster a smile on my face. Talk of demons made my head sear in pain, pressure like no other; I was only worried what would happen when I did encounter another Demon.
"Well tonight I'm going to be looking at Carol to find where the tracking device may be located, what about you (Y/N)? Mama mentioned that I'm going to be showing you how to take care of the younger, as I heard you never have."
"I have done it before, but maybe it's different here. I miss my younger siblings a lot.. it's nostalgic here but different" (Y/N) admitted, Emma made me feel like I could spill my deepest worries in an instant, and I almost did without even thinking.
"You don't have any marks on you do you, (Y/N)? Anything that could give away a tracking device?" Norman asked, and I lied on the spot.
"No, but I can check tonight?" I said as I patted my sides and smiled, I already knew the location. Mother Isabella had made me aware, but now I didn't want to be on her side so much.
'What am I thinking? Mama wants to save me, not kill me. But what if she was lying about making me a mother, and I'm going to die?' I thought to myself as we all walked back to the house as the bell rang, and it felt like two angels on my shoulders bickering.
'We should take Isabellas side! She's been nothing but kind to us!'
'But she lied to us about everything for the few days, how do we know she's not lying to us about anything else?'
