Ghoulish Gourmets chapter 4


A few minutes later.

wilbie had been standing there in the bathroom, looking down into the sink, today had been a rather Daunting and tedious one . ever sense he had been with the ghoul girls today, it seemed like they were constantly shoving some type of special food they made in his face. and no matter what he did, they kept offering him more. sure he could just come out and tell them the truth,, but, they all seemed so proud of their work he wasn't sure how to break it to them,, but if he didn't say anything soon, they were going to notice. he couldn't keep this up forever.


maybe if he just got through the rest of the day ? maybe if he went home now, he could think of what to say to them. it would be worth a shot, He took a deep breath as he was ready. he was going to go back out there, and tell them he was going home, not feeling too well,

wilbe took a deep breath and then open the door. he stepped out and made his way back over to the lounge room. How ever when he got there, he notice that the ghoul girls were no where to be seen in their,
he cocked his head in confusion..wondering where they could have gone off too, it wasn't until he heard voices chattering elsewhere in the school.

" I can't take it, that's it. we offered all we could and nothing. not one thing did he actually try.!! " winnie said sounding frustrated.

" well,I have to agree it's official, it's been clear he won't eat our food, " sibella said. " and well, I guess there is only one thing we can do, " she said.

" And what is that ? are you saying we confront him on it now ? " Elsa said,


" I say we do, he has nothing to hide now, we got him and he's going to fess up. " winne said seriously,

" Well, that's exactly what we'll do, when he get's back we'll be ready " sibella said as she motioned for everyone to get closer.. they all did and soon she was explaining something to them, and as a result they gained rather mischievous grin grins on there faces...


as wlbie made his way towards where he heard the girls taking, he saw that it led him to the kitchen. he raised an eyebrow, wondering what they could be doing in here, he shrugged as he called out to them.

" hey, what are you all doing in there ? "

the ghouls girl's eyes then widened when they heard him just outside...

" oh great,, he's here, now what do we do,? " Elsa said...

sibella then though for a moment, " girls...hide. " she said with a wink...

the others then got mischievous grins on thee faces as they nodded...they quickly then went and hid from view,

sibella then looked at winnie and nodded..to which she just snickered and then began to speak to him,

" Oh uh, sorry wilbie, didn't think you'd be back so soon, were just cleaning things up in here, we could use your help . then we'll have things...wrapped up. " winnie said with another snicker.

" Uh..sure yeah..here I come, " he said pushing open the door and stepping inside the room. however when he entered the room, he notice that he could only see winnie and sibella standing there and none of the others., looking a bit ominous as they did,.....

" Uh...girls ? " he said feeling a bit unconformable all of a sudden,

then suddenly he heard the door creak shut behind him, he turned around to see Elsa standing there with a mischievous smirk on her face...

" Hello wilbie...you have some confessing to do, " she said in a tone that made wilbie's skin go a little cold.. but he still wasn't sure what was even going on...

" And to make sure you have no way to weasel your way out of this one.." he heard sibella say

he could then see Phantasma tanis come out from there hiding places..making it that they were all surrounding him now..

wilbie felt a bit of sweat run down his face as he nervously chuckled.." eh heh heh...w-what do you girls mean ? " he said, not knowing what they ha planned.

They how ever said nothing as they then began to advance on him, like he was a mouse cornered by cats....wilbie let out a gulp as he knew he was certainly in for something....

wilbie looked a bit fearful as he was now tied to an old wooden chair the girls have got from the other room, they all had had mischievous expressions on there face and wilbe for once didn't like the look of it,

" Uh, could you kindly tell me just what you are doing !! " wilbie shouted in his bonds..

" oh don't worry my dear wilbie, we just want to see what happens when you have no way to avoid what were about to do now, " sibella said with a wink,

" Yeah, we just about had it with you not telling us the truth, and well, now where going to find out,...but first," winnie said as then looked over at the others with a nod,...

" We are going to have a little dinner time, " Phantasma laughed..as she and the others pulled out a diffrent type of food off the counter,..

" wilbie raised an eyebrow, trying to process what they meant, when just then it hit him..." w-wait No ! hold on ! "wilbie blurted..

" Now now, no need to be fussy, we are going to show you just how tasty our cooking really is.." sibella said with a chuckle.

" Yeah...now get ready, " Phantasma said floating towards him, scooping a spoon into the bowl she was holding, and then held it near him in attempts to feed him, " you'll love this, it's Leach and pea stew, " she giggled...

wilbie turned his head a way and fidgeted as she tried to put the spoon near his mouth,

" Aw come on wilb's, eat up , food will make you big and strong, " she said still attempting to spoon feed him,

" I- can't " he mumble still trying to avoid her attempts,

" you can't or you wont " winnie sad crossing her arm..

" I..c-cant' " he said still struggling...

" why not then, ? " sibella said folding his arms and raising an eyebrow,

wilbie struggled to say something, he wasn't sure what to say, he needed a way to brake the truth to them but he wasn't sure how,,instead he just mumble to himself as he put his head down..

" oh very well then, you'll say it sooner or later. until then enjoy your meal. " she then nodded at phantasma who then continued to try and feed him,

" come on wilbie. open up. here comes the ghost Train, " woo woo ! " she cooed in a teasing manner as she then managed to stick the spoon full of food into his mouth..

wilbie's eyes then widen..as she kept the spoon there, until wilbie forcibly swallowed the food, and then showed a slight look of disgust....

" ready to confess ? " sibella asked again,

" can't we talk this over ? " he sheepishly said.

" Elsa ? " sibella said glancing at her..

" alrighty then, time fore some rotten egg Omelettes " she chuckled as she then picked up a fork full of the food,

wilbie tried to push himself back as she brought the food closer..

" come on wilbie, time for sine eggy's . " she laughed..

wilbie began to sweat..as he shook his head..

" aw don't be picky. it's good, " she said chucking some more,

wilbie kept his mouth closed as he still shook his head,,

" is that it then, our you just picky and don't want to eat our food, " Elsa said ,

" N-no, not exactly that, " he said.."

" Then here, have some of this, " she said as she managed to stick the food into his mouth, again making him chew swallow and shudder from doing so,..

" ugh,,," was all he said as a result..and by also sticking out his tongue.

" well we can keep this up until you eat all your food , or say what it is that's keeping you. I'm sure tannis would love to feed you some of her wonderful moldy biscuits. "

tanis then beamed. " my mummy taught me how to make them. I think you'll love them. " she said ever so sweetly,

" yeah, or maybe he just need's some of that delicious Pie you baked Elsa, " winnie grinned..

" oh, but winnie we don't normally allow dessert before someone has eaten all there dinner." she giggled, but I think e can make and exception for you wilbie, " she smirked at him,

wilbie watched on as they then brought out Elsa's pie fresh from the oven, and set it on the counter top. they cut a slice off and topped with whipped cream, only there can read whipped scream,..they added a rotten cherry on the top of it,

" alright, here's some dessert wilb's " sibella said with a wink as she brought the slice of pie over..wilbie looked in terror as he could see this one was chalked full of worms and insects..he looked up to see the girls all had smirks on there face, they were not kidding around..he had to remember, they were ghouls, and while he loved to hang out with them for that, he needed to be reminded that they tend to do things..a little to the extreme,, things that could be considered a bit crazy by a normal person, and he very well knew he was not getting out of this without telling the truth, he was going to have to come clean..

" here ya go wilbie, some nice tasty pie. " sibella said taking a large chunk off the pie with a fork, "

wilbie braced himself as he closed his eyes and opened his mouth to speak, when she suddenly shoved the pie into his mouth,

" I-mmghff !! " he was cut if as he had the piece of pie fill his mouth, his eyes widend again as he could taste a sour bitterness..and things crawling and slimeing around...began to chew as he winced...

" oh you know what Tanis ? I think he'd love to try some of those moldy biscuits you made..as well. " Winnie said

to which tanis beamed as she held up her plate.." oh yeah, " she said with a giggle..she then proceeded to take on of her plate and walke over to wilbie..

" Here you go wilbie. freshly baked ." she said as wilbie struggled to keep the food item away from his face..however tanis mange to pop the biscuit into his mouth..causing him to almost gag again..

" Hope you find it tasty. " she said with a innocent smile..

of course wilbie expression on would be able to tell he found it anything but..and with the combination of the rotten pie with all it's unbaked insects crawling around his mouth and the moldy Biscuit, it was all too much for wilbie to handle..
he forced one last swallow as he felt his entire body shudder from the taste...it was then and now he knew he had to make it stop...

" ready for another bite " sibella said in as teasing tone . and just as she was about to prepare another piece for him,
thats when he blurted it out loud for them to hear,

" IT'S TERRIBLE !! "

sibella then stopped as she was rather taken back by that,. it was so sudden and out of nowhere, and the others seemed a little surprised by it as well,..

He then took a deep breath.." It's awful !! it's Horrible !!.and NASTY !!" wilbie blurted , " he then sighed.." I'm sorry..but you want the truth I'll say it exactly hoe I feel,." he began again " , everything you fed me, everything you make.
I think it's the most awful thing I ever ate, I'm sorry you have to hear it like this..but it's true..."

the others now had no idea what to say...they couldn't believe what they had just heard...he..he really didn't like there food ?..he really thought it was awful, had they really been that bad of cooks ? or was it something else...

" and it's not me just being picky, I know I can be considered that, but trust me, everything you make i'm sure most humans would gag as soon as they even looked at it., " he ended with a heavy breathing...

the ghouls where still speechless...they just didn't know ho to react...here was one of there good friends..telling them that they made awful food, but then make it see like it's natural for them to hate it ?

they all looked shocked, tanis looked rather hurt, but they continued to let him speak

" Listen girls..I'm sorry..I should have explained this sooner, but, well the things you make just aren't appealing to humans, stuff like that is what we'd probably dare others to eat...and well I can't stomach it very well,..." he said looking down at his own to feet. sounding a little ashamed...

the ghoul girls all looked at one another, suddenly becoming very understanding of the situation...

" wilbie, " sibella said placing a hand on his shoulder.." if that is so why didn't you tell us I'm sure we would have all understood.." she said with a confident nod..

he looked up and her and sighed again.." well..it didn't really cross my mind all that much..I didn't think you'd really notice or be bothered, and yesterday, I notice how proud you all seemed of your cooking, it suddenly felt...bad for me to tell you it was well bad but you are right..I should have said it sooner, you probably would have understood. I was just feeling a bit scattered brain I guess.

The others all look down, feeling rather guilty now,

" were sorry too wilbie..we probably took this a bit far I suppose.." sibella said sheepishly

wilbie looked down at himself tied to the chair..." you think ? " he then said a little sarcastically..

" we hope we didn't make you really sick, " tanis said sounding a little concerned.

wilbie chuckled a little,.." come one...my mother makes me eat my veggies all the time,it'll take more that to make me sick.." he jokingly said.." but really it is nasty...but I'll be fine.. " he said

" aw man..I didn't think this is how things would turn out. and too think sibella said you were just being picky." winnie said shaking her head..

sibella gave her an annoyed look. " well, you aren't the best eater yourself. Which is saying a lot for a werewolf."

" I guess we have a lot more to learn about humans , " Elsa said itching her head..

" yeah, like the things you do like to eat, " Tanis said, stiring her foot around on the ground..

winnie then proceeded to untie wilbie and helped him up, she dropped her ears back and nervously rubbed her shoulder..
" Eh,no hard feelings eh ? " she sheepishly grinned.

wiblie just smirked as e playfully pushed her a little, " come one winnie, I'd expect no diffrent from you," he chuckled..

" That's great. " she said happily. " so uh. as tanis said. .what do humans like to eat ? " she asked..

winnie then ribbed his chin as he began to think,,," hmm, well human taste can differ. but what I know what we eat are things like, apple's corn, potatoes,." he said counting with his fingers. he then notice the ghouls had rather, disturbed looks on there face..

wilbie looked a little confused.." what ? "

" the thing's you listed if you hate rotten food are you saying you...enjoy...ripe food ? " sibella said,,

" yeah..please don't tell me that is true.." phantasma added..

" Um, it is ? " wilbie answered.

all the ghoul girls looked as though they were about to throw up themselves now....

" and you say we have strange taste. " Elsa commented..

" yeah, for a kid who's okay with eating food wit lungs and hearts, that's pretty strange.." winnie added..

wilbie just shrugged " what you mean haggis ? it's pretty good..after all you seemed to like it, and really it's just how we are, I mean what's wrong with some things like fresh bread or fried chicken ? "

the ghoul girls all winced at the mention of those...which just caused wilbie to smirk..." or burgers with nice tender eat and fresh lettuce and tomato

" Ugh please stop using the word fresh to describe your food, " sibella said plugging her ears..

" what ? I figured you'd love that...I mean think about it, fresh Brussels sprouts warmly booked in a stew." he snickered,,..

this caused all the ghouls to, gag and groan..

" That's so nasty I think I'm going to be sick, I mean Brussels sprouts ? .that just sounds horrible," winnie said

Wilbie just laughed, " ah don't worry, I don't them either.......
