I took a few moments to collect myself and then I dried off. A minute later Leah knocked on the door and handed me a change of clothes. Leah gave me one of her softball teams long sleeved shirts and a pair of basketball shorts to wear. When I was done, Leah was waiting on her bed for me.

"Do the clothes fit okay?" She asked

"Yea they're good, thank you." I said and sat down on her bed. "So what now?" I asked her after a moment of silence.

"I don't know, we could hang if you want." Leah said.

            Before I could give her an answer her bedroom door flew open making both of us jump and in walked Lexi and Spencer with two other girls.

"So how did the date go?" Lexi asked. Spencer elbowed her in the chest when she saw me.

"I'm guess it went well, why are you guys wet?" Lexi asked.

"I'm going to go fix up my room. Give me a call later if you want to hang." I said and kissed Leah's cheek.

            I didn't really wait around for an answer before I snuck past her friends and out the door. I went down the stairs and out the front door. It stopped pouring which is a good thing as I ran to my truck. I jumped into it and started it up before taking off down the street. It took me five minutes to get home from her house.

            After I parked the car I turned it off and went inside. Everything that happened over the past few days started to sink and I couldn't be happier. My few minutes where up when my door was opened and Momma walked in. She has this happy little smirk on her face as she sat down on

"Yes?" I asked her.

"So, how was your date?" She asked.

"It was really good. We had a really good time together." I said.

"That sounds nice baby, I want you to invite her over for dinner one night this week."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I want to meet the girl who is dating my daughter." She answered.

            That was the end of the conversation. Kristin asked about what we did and stuff but I would only give her little details. She doesn't need to know everything we did. After she left me alone I started to paint over the white Taylor and I did the other day. At first I started painting but then stopped. Some creativity flew threw me and I flung the paintbrush towards the wall. The motion left a splatter effect along the wall. It looked awesome so I continued along the rest of the wall.

            It took all day but when it was done I couldn't be happier. By now it's late and I'm super tired, so I just changed into my pajamas and went into the kitchen. Kristin in sitting by herself drinking her coffee. I sat next to her and put my head down on the table.

"When is mom coming home?" I asked.

"She on a two day tour, she'll be home tomorrow night. Leftovers are on the stove." She said.

"Why didn't you ask me to eat with you?" I asked getting the food off of the burner.

"Because you were in such a zone I didn't want to bother you." She said.

            I just nodded and eat my dinner. Kristin asked if invited Leah over yet but I just shook my head. In the middle of my dinner my cell phone rang and I answered it.

"Hey" I said.

"Hi" Leah said.

"So my mom wanted me to invite you over for dinner." I said.
