Max hums softly to the soft calming music that plays in her ears full blast, her long curly ginger hair being down her back and softly flowing in the warm wind that blows towards her, her being in her regular night attire of a long oversized grey sweater and grey knee high socks, her reading glasses on as she reads a book that is on her lap.

She can see the sunset vividly from where she sits, her being in front of the beach as the soft waves of the water come softly thrashing to her, but not quite touching her skin since she is in enough distance for the water to not touch her, her sitting on a blanket that is over the sand.

She takes a moment to just stare at the sunset ahead of her, her just taking a long deep breath before slowly closing her eyes.

She places her hands on her knees, her just taking deep breath and letting the music cross different parts of her mind, letting the music drown out the thoughts, the raging thoughts in her head that prevent her from getting her sleep at night or concentrating on the books that she likes so much.

She looks when she sees Annabelle go to sit down beside her, Max taking out an AirPod. "Hey Anna."

"Hey." Annabelle smiles. "What has your mind racing? Besides it all?"

"All of it." Max shrugs. "What about you?"

Annabelle shrugs lightly. "I miss her. Despite her just...running off." Annabelle admits. "I've been around Sabrina for a long time to know that not much bothers her. But this...this guy...this secret that she won't tell...it's bothering her. She contacted me a few days ago."

"She did?" Max asks. "What did she say?"

"Just to keep watching Sasha. To make sure she doesn't get in a rut." Annabelle replies. "She also told me to work to live, not live to work. And to not lose myself in the work. Before I could say anything else she hung up."

"Yeah she contacted me a few weeks back too." Max admits. "She told me the same thing...to keep looking after Sasha. But she also said everything that she taught me after Kendall's funeral with emotionally protecting your heart and head to disband it, and remain myself."

"She's not wanting us to make the same mistakes she did." Annabelle says. "I just wish she would know that she could talk to us, open up to us."

"It's not that easy for some people. Even for us sometimes it isn't easy and we had a good childhood. I know with you a lot of shit happened when you were younger but Sabrina and Sasha took you in and they made sure you didn't go without, that you weren't neglected, and even still we struggle to open up. We can only imagine how it is for ones who had hard childhoods and a hard life."
