Heart to heart

Chapter 1

"What do you mean you're confused again? How does that work?" Lied asks. Iruma whimpers in frustration, " I don't know okay!? Just ...things happened." He looks away and begins walking ahead to class.

"What do I think Ameri is to me?" He pounders to himself as he walks to his home room. "Master Iruma sir! You seem to be troubled? Is there any way I can assist with such frustration ?" Alice asks him. Iruma was so in thought he didn't notice Alice and Clara had been following behind him for sometime. Iruma snaps back into reality and looks up towards Alice. "It's okay! I'm fine, just got some things on my mind..." he explains a bit.
"What is troubling you? I may  have advice!" Alice offers excitedly. Iruma softly smiles, " Once I figure out what exactly it is I promise to tell you. Deal?" Alice thinks on it and nods in agreement. Clara hops onto Iruma's back. "Irumaaaaa! What about me? Tell me tell me tell me!" Iruma holds her hands and looks up towards her. " I'll tell you once I know also!" He smiles at her.

The three finally stopped their chatter as Professor Kalego enters the class. "Silence fools. Take your seats and open your books. We have a new chapter to cover by TODAY."

After a long and draining period , the class starts making their way to the cafeteria. "So Iruma-kun did you figure out what is wrong?" Clara asks happily skipping next to him. Iruma chuckles, "no not yet Clara."

"When will you?" She asks once more. " Give master Iruma some space you little goblin. It is obviously not something that can be resolved in one day." Alice fusses at Clara. She sticks her tongue out at him and grabs a tray. Iruma sighs, "Thanks Azz. I wish I had an answer for you and Clara already myself." He starts stacking food on his plate. " By any chance do you know what is causing this odd feeling?" Alice asks as they start heading to their table. Iruma puts his finger on his chin. " It was when Lead ask me if I view Ameri as a soulmate like you two." Clara buts in, " She not! There's only two soulmates! No lady red hair!"  She shouts at the two. Iruma puts his hands up in defeat. " She's not! ...I think? Ugh! This is so frustrating." He puts his head down on the table. "Want me to get a can of devil earl tea Iruma sir?" Alice offers in concern. Iruma shakes his head and stands up. "It's okay, I'll go get it myself. I need the walk." He leaves the cafeteria. Alice watches from afar, "I think I'll follow him... Clara stay here and watch our lunch! Do not move!" He points at her. Clara nods, "yeah yeah! How unfair! I want to follow Iruma too." She pouts. Alice shakes his head. "No if we both go, someone will take iruma food or worst!" He adds. "I hope she can take the hint in that." He thinks to himself. Clara ponders for a moment and eventually agrees. Alice sighs in relief and heads off to follow Iruma.

Iruma makes it to the vending the machine and press the devil earl beverage button. " What is Ameri to me?? Why do I feel this way now? Even thinking of her makes my stomach feel knotted up." He thinks to himself. "Hello Iruma!" A feminine voice says firmly. He jumps and turns. "H-hey Ameri!" He stutters. Ameri smiles, making her horns/ears lean a little, earning a light blush from a certain blue hair boy. "What are you doing here? Is it lunch time for your class?" She asks as she gets closer. Iruma looks away and backing up a little. "..yeah, it is...." He says lightly. Ameri turns her head to the side in confusion. "What's wrong? Why are you so pink?" She says leaning in closer to iruma. Iruma whimpers under his breath. "Y-yeah I'm fine!" His face turns redder as he is eye to eye with her. Ameri stares a bit longer but eventually backs up once realizing her closeness. " V-very well. Will I be seeing you today after school for reading? I can get some treats arranged in advance." She asks. Iruma nods quickly; " Yeah! You will." He gulps. Ameri smiles once more and earning another blush from Iruma, little did he know it boosted her confidence. "Wonderful, I'll leave you to your lunch."
Alice watches Ameri walk away and looks back at Iruma. " He looks like a total mess! What is going on between them?" He takes a deep breath and walks towards him. "Iruma sir! I became worried and went to search for you. Is everything okay?" He asks with concern. Iruma straightens up and nods. "Yeah I'm okay, sorry for making you guys wait....you didn't see that did you?" He asks shyly. Alice looks off, "....no"

Alice is an awful liar, especially if it's lying to Iruma.

Iruma groans and smacks his face to hide his facial expressions. "Oh you did! Please don't tell anyone. I don't know why I'm like this around her now. She's just so...so.." Iruma stops talking, can't think of the right word.

Alice raises his brow; "Attractive?" Iruma nods and turns his head towards him. "Yes! I mean- ugh!" He groans once more and grabs his can. Alice nods quietly. "I know you say you're not sure what she is to you yet but maybe I can shed some light onto an idea." Iruma turns back to him. "Yeah what do you think?" Alice puts his hand on his chin. "Mmmm perhaps you may have a strong physical attraction to her? Ms.President is a beautiful demon I will admit. Many demons have a physical passion/admiration of Ms.President. There's no shame in that." Alice says. Iruma shakes his head; "No no, it's more than a "physical" attraction.. Ameri is also very ambitious and passionate. She also very kind and confident. I always get a tightening sensation in my chest when I see her now since the ball.." Alice listens to his friends frustrations. "Hmmm Iruma sir I think what you have is not lust but..love for Ameri." Iruma face reddens.
