BACKGROUND 𓈒 ، sakura being mixed was put in an international school in japan. there she meet yechan, a korean student. despite being in elementary the two become really close due to sakura knowing a bit of korean. two years later yechan moved back to korea but the two of them kept in touch every day ❪with their mom's help❫. even when sakura moved to denver and the time zones were different, the two still called every day. they visit each other during breaks, so the connection was there. during one of sakura's visit to korea, yechan developed strong feelings for the girl but never said anything due to sakura liking another boy.
when sakura became an actress, yechan was her number one fan. always seeing everything she's in, seeing her interviews, and just watching her ❪in a non creepy way❫.the feelings got deeper and deeper, and he was jealous of her co-stars, but since he never told her how he feels, he had no right to feel that way. when sakura moved to korea and went to an international school there, they both saw each other again.
with sakura's return, it didn't help yechan with his feelings at all, so he promised himself that that summer he was going to tell her his feelings. sakura, on the other hand, got over her crush on the guy and started to realize that the times she didn't talk to woobin, she missed him and realized she liked him more than a friend, so she was also planning to confess that summer.
the two hung out at lotte world before sakura had to leave for america; there they confessed. since that day, the two have become inseparable, always together, with yechan coming to sakura's sets, tours, promotions, and just being by her side 24/7. they even ended up buying an apartment together. the relationship is very healthy; there are times when they both get jealous, but it's nothing major and can easily be resolved. yechan will do anything for sakura and treat her the way she is supposed to be treated, like a princess.
