The Misadventures of Son Goken

Chapter 1: The Birthday Gift.

The hours start to fly by as Pan and Goken train with Piccolo, eventually the training stops for the day.

"Alright, that's it for today. You two can go home now." Piccolo says as he sits down on a rock and drinks from a water bottle, the two kids are tired..Yeah, they should go home.

"Aw already? We only trained for a few hours.." Pan says a bit disappointed, Goken nodding to that.

"Yeah! What is something going on today?.." Goken ask as Piccolo sighs a bit as he put away his water bottle

"You're as forgetful as your father Goken, it's your tomorrow birthday remember?" Piccolo mentions to Goken as he got up from the rock.

Oh right, it was his birthday tomorrow! Goken had completely forgot..

"Oh, yeah! I'm super excited! Thanks for reminding me Mr Piccolo!" Goken says as he smiled, before then walking to the nimbus and hopping on it "See you guys tomorrow! Bye!" Goken waves goodbye as he then rides the nimbus home, Pan and Piccolo would wave Goken goodbye.

Meanwhile at Capsule Corp

It had been a long few hours for Bulma as she was working on a gift for Goken, since it was his birthday after all..

She didn't quite know what to make him, so she'd been brainstorming ideas for the past few hours. Papers were all over her desk, it was clear she was stressing out over this.

Luckily for her, Vegeta had returned home from his sparring session with Goku. He was tired from the session, but he wasn't completely exhausted of energy. Vegeta saw Bulma working on..something? So, in curiosity he walked over and looked at what she was doing.

"Still trying to make a gift for Kakarot's kid?" Vegeta said as he drank a water bottle. Bulma nodded as she groaned a bit, it had been HOURS. And she still didn't know what to make him.

"Yes, It's not hard to make anything..I just don't know what he'd WANT.." Bulma said as she sighed in frustration, Vegeta cocked his eyebrow a bit as he smirked.

"Oh really?..Hm, some advice. The kid is similar to his father, not only is he a fighter. But the kid likes adventure as well..Maybe more than Kakarot, actually a LOT more than Kakarot..So, do with that information what you will. I'm going to go shower." Vegeta said this before walking away, hm. Bulma just got an idea for a new invention, she quickly gets out a new piece of paper as she scribbles down the idea.

Back at the Son household. Goku had just gotten back with his sparring session with Vegeta, he was pretty tired from it, but he could still greet his family. "Hey ChiChi! How are ya?" Goku said as he walked up to ChiChi with her hugging him "I'm doing well, Goken is training with Piccolo if you wanted to ask. Goten, he's still sleeping." ChiChi says as she kissed her husband on the cheek.

"Piccolo huh? Well, he is a good teacher!" Goku says as he remembers how well Gohan did with training with Piccolo, but. He was kinda hungry now-

"Sooo, is breakfast ready?" Goku said as he looked down at ChiChi, ChiChi nodded as she pointed to the table full of food, "It's ready Goku, I've just been waiting for you and Goken to get back." Goku nodded at this as he let go of ChiChi and walked over to the table and sat down.

A few minutes later Goken entered the house, and Goten finally awake walked down the stairs at the same time..

Finally, after chatting. The family got to eating the food.
