Certain people will say that the world is like the waves of the ocean. The calming blue, the relaxing sound the water makes as it moves. The swooshes and the splashes it makes as the waves build up, working together to grow as tall as the wave can possibly be, only for it to come down and start all over. Others may say the world is like the ocean. Although this time the ocean doesn't seem so relaxing.

It's a beautiful sight in the daylight. The blue may look very bright when the sun shines on it. But once the sun hides away down in the horizon, the sea turns as dark as the big black sky. It is a mysterious place. No one knows the ocean. No one knows what the ocean hides deep down inside its murky depths. No one except for the moon. The only thing that is left for the ocean when the stars and the sun disappear. The moon shines down at the ocean like a bright smile. Even when it is not seen around, it's present. Present for the ocean, and the ocean always acknowledges the moons presence, always thankful for it.

In this case you can say the ocean is Peter and the Moon is May.

They were all they had left for each other as family. Peter loved May, she was truly his shining bright moon. May loved Peter as his own. She always took care of him and worked so hard for him to have all the support and care, even if she had to work overtime, night shifts, anything, she would take it.

They were happy with each other. Happy with the apartment they have lived him the past years. The farmed pictures that hung up on the wall of them as they posed for each picture. The pictures always gave them a warm feeling that they still had each other. And no matter what they were going to be together..

Peter woke up to the sound of his alarm beeping loudly as his phone vibrates a little too much for his liking. He thrashed around under his warm blankets that are stacked against him. He felt comfortable in the position he was in. His body unable to find the wanting to get up. However he does it anyway. He leisurely removed the warm blankets, the grip of his weak morning strength barely able to keep his hand on the blanket as he moved it aside his bed. Peter turned his body, flinging over his legs off the edge of the bed as he reached one of his arms towards the phone on his night stand.

He turned off the annoying alarm coming from his phone and sighed.

Another long day of school, Peter thought to himself, just gotta make it till' Friday.

It was Monday.

May opened Peters door gently as her head peeked out and made eye contact with the sleepy boy.

"Come on Peter. You need to start getting ready. Today is a fresh start. Recollect yourself from yesterday!" May said. Her sweet voice filled with enthusiasm. The enthusiasm she saves for Peter each morning to help him get up and get ready for the day.

"Okay, okay. I'm up." Peter said with a smile creeping up his face as he stood up beside his bed opening his drawers to pick his outfit of the day.

"When you're ready, there's breakfast ready on the table. I need to go to work now. Bye Peter! I love you!" May said leaving Peters bedroom door open as she hurried out.

"I love you too!" Peter said happily.

He heard the front door of the apartment shut closed. Sighing, he starts to put on whatever he grabs first. A black T-shirt and some jeans that fit a little loose on him.

Peter put on his shoes and he checked the time.

I'm gonna be late if I don't hurry! Peter thought to himself.

He head over to the table and ate his breakfast quickly. When he finished he grabbed his backpack and rushed out the door.

The day was cloudy, not a single bit of sunlight in sight. Peter felt a little uneasy. His senses were warning him of something. He wasn't sure of what it was.
