Secret Rivals, Part 3

*You and Lando have now arrived at the fancy bar and are about to walk in. Lando grabs your hand to help you out of the car and he leads you inside making sure not to lose you through the chaos of the bar. Lando leads you to an empty table where you sit down and start to look at the menu.*

Lando: You raced very well out there today, you should come and race for Mclaren we need a driver like you.

Y/n: I would love that but my Dad wouldn't be too happy if I didn't go with the family legacy of racing for Reb Bull.

Lando: I see you're just too scared to race against someone as good as me.

Y/n: If I was to join Mclaren I would make you look bad because you won't be able to keep up.

You both giggle

Lando: Do you think you will be allowed to take Sergio's place in the last race of the season in Australia?

Y/n: Well I hope so because Australia is one of my favourite tracks and I do love racing against you and the others.

Lando: Well let's not worry about next weekend and focus on celebrating your first podium on your debut race.

Y/n: Sounds good.

*The night goes on you and Lando get some food and drinks. Once you finish your last drinks Lando pulls you onto the dance floor where you start dancing together. You start to get a bit anxious because there are a lot of people around you and you don't like big crowds, but you know that you are safe with Lando.*

Lando: Are you ok?

Y/n: Yeah I am ok.

Lando: It is starting to get late do you want to come back to my hotel before it gets too busy?

Y/n: That sounds like fun.

*Lando leads you out of the crowd to the door of the bar. You hold Lando's hand tight to make sure you don't lose him. You can finally relax and take a few deep breaths when you get into the passenger seat of Lando's car. Lando then starts the car and drives you to his hotel.*

Y/n: Thank you for taking me out it was really fun.

Lando: Anything for you i wanted to make sure that you got the chance to celebrate your big achievement.

Y/n: Thank you Lando it is so nice of you. Do you know Max's girlfriend?

Lando: Yeah, Kelsey why?

Y/n: Well you know how Max and I have known each other since I started in the academy?

Lando: Yeah where is this going?

Y/n: Well every time I hug Max when I first see him she is always giving me this really weird look.

Lando: She is probably just insecure that you are close to Max and she can't do all the amazing stuff you do.

Y/n: Aw thanks Lando if she keeps doing it I am going to confront her.

*Lando pulls up at the hotel.*

Y/n: This is so fancy omg.

Lando: Haha I like to make sure I live in style.

*You follow Lando through the lobby to the elevators. He then presses the top button on the elevator.*

Lando: If you think the outside of the hotel you should see my penthouse apartment.

Y/n: Penthouse omg.

Lando: You are so cute when you are surprised.

*You start to blush after what Lando said. You walk into the apartment after him to see the amazing view of the Monaco race track. You both sit down close to each other on the lounge getting ready to watch a movie. You rest your head on his shoulder since it is getting late and you're tired. As you watch the movie he runs his fingers through your hair which puts you to sleep.*

Lando: Hey y/n wake up.

*your eyes slowly start to open and you see Lando on his knees next to the bed you were lying in.*

Y/n: Lando is that you?

Lando: Yes it is sweetheart, we both fell asleep and we have to get you back to your Dad and brother before they think you have gone missing.

Y/n: Ok

*You slowly sit up in bed and Lando sits on the bed next to you and you stare into each other's eyes. Your heart starts to flutter and you feel like you are falling in love. You shuffle closer to Lando lean over and kiss him on the cheek.*

Y/n: I am so sorry.

Lando: Why are you sorry beautiful, that was amazing.

*He leans close to you again and he kisses you on the lips. You start to blush.*

Lando: You are so cute when you blush.

Y/n: I have to tell you something.

Lando: What is it y/n?

Y/n: I think I am falling in love.

Lando: I feel the same way i think you are the greatest person ever.

*After feeling like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders you get up and start to put your shoes on so you are ready to leave. Lando leads you down the elevator and out the lobby to the car. Once you both get into the car you turn to Lando and say.*

Y/n: Will you be my boyfriend?

Lando: I thought you would never ask, of course, I would love to be your boyfriend.

Y/n: Well my dad said if I date anyone from the paddock I will be kicked off the team and my spot will be given to my annoying brother.

Lando: He can't tell you who you can and can't date.

Y/n: I know but I am too scared what he would do if he found out we were dating so can we keep it a secret?

Lando: Well you gotta tell him at some stage.

Y/n: Yeah I will but not now i want to finish the last race of the season before he finds out.

Lando: Can I tell the others like Daniel, Carlos and Charles?

Y/n: Sure but tell them not to tell anyone.

Lando: Ok we will keep this between us until you are comfortable with telling your dad.

Y/n: Thank you so much for understanding my situation.

*Lando pulls up at your hotel he hops out of the car takes your hand and takes you inside. You get to the door of your hotel room and Lando kisses you on the lips and gives you a long tight hug before you go inside.*

Lando: I will see you at the airport in the morning.

Y/n: Bye Lando.

*You quietly open the door and go into your room making sure you don't wake up your brother and Dad.*
