It was a Wednesday afternoon, and I was in Potions class with Slughorn and I just finished brewing my Amortentia also known as Love Potion. I took a whiff and I smelled Daisies, understandable I would always pick daisies with my mum when I was little, I smelled Citrus, understandable as well, because I would pick Citrus fruits with daddy to repel the Nargles, and the last smell smelled like, Earth and Plants. I stood there trying to figure out why I smelled Earth as I was never good in Herbology, but I shrugged it off and let Slughorn finish his class

I am walking to my common room when I bumped into my best friend, Neville Longbottom. "Oh, s-sorry L-luna" He said. I smelled the exact Earthy smell I smelled in the love potion. "It's okay Neville" I said smiling "Well, I need to go help Professor Sprout with the Mandrakes." He said waving. I waved back. I sighed Neville has always had a passion with Herbology. Wait. When Neville showed up I instantly smelled Earth and Plants exactly what I smelled in the love potion and Neville always loved Herbology, and I feel all warm inside when I was around him, I assumed it was the Wrackspurts but now I realized. I was completely and utterly in love, with Neville Longbottom.

It is officially Saturday and I haven't talked to Neville since I realized I was in love with him on Wednesday, I was just too nervous. I know what you're thinking, Luna Lovegood? Nervous? I just couldn't let anything slip, but today is the day I'm gonna tell him. I walk out of the Ravenclaw common room. I slipped Neville a note telling me to meet him in the Room of Requirement. I walk in and see him biting his nails nervously. "Hello Neville" I say. He turns around and says "Luna! Thank god! I was afraid you were mad at me why were you avoiding me?" I sigh and say "I know, I just have to tell you something." He nods for me to continue. "I am in love with you" I blurt out instantly blushing and I turned away not wanting to see his reaction. I feel his warm hand on my chin and he moved it so I was now facing him. He didn't say anything, I was shocked as he placed his lips gently on mine. I instantly kissed back. He put his arm around my waist and put his hand on my cheek. I put my hand on his shoulder and I put my other hand on the side of his neck. I pulled away, we both smiled. I took a deep breath, taking in the smell of Earth and Plants around me. The smell I would love and remember till the day I die.
