"So if I took you on cute dates and did cute things do you think you would've stayed?" Matt asked. "Well maybe if you hit me or anything then maybe." "Eva i-""I know

"you're sorry" you've been saying that for the past two days we've been together." I felt Matt lay his head on mine just whispering to himself, "Matt sorry can't fix anything you did." He nodded his head and whispered "I know." "I think I should get home now." I said as I got up, I put my bag over my shoulder and held my hand out to help Matt get up from the bed, "well are you going to get my hand?" "Do you have to leave?" I put my hand down thinking obviously he's not going to get up, "well no I guess..." I said looking down. "Why don't you just stay here tonight?" "Well if I'm staying the night I'm going to need some comfortable clothes." I said crossing my arms with a small smirk. Matt went to his drawer to grab some grey sweatpants and a blue t-shirt. "The bathroom is on the left." He said handing me the clothes. I walked to the bathroom just admiring how nice his house looks. I put on the clothes and stood in the mirror just starring at myself, "oh god what have you gotten yourself into Eva?" I said to myself I took a deep breath, "Eva you are just friends you don't like him he's an asshole. Listen to Brennen, he's a dick." I walked out of the bathroom to Matt's room, "wow you look better in my clothes than I do." I laughed and plopped myself on the bed. "What do you want to do?" he asked. "Mm I don't know, Netflix?" I said laying my head on his chest. We both agreed to watch a movie on Netflix we chose to watch, The Shrine, "Matt you know how I feel about scary movies." I said giving him a serious look, "I know but come on it's my favorite movie!" He smiled "fine alright but you better hold me when it's there's scary scene." Matt hugged me tighter and kissed the top of my head aw shit Eva you better not catch feelings for this ass again. "You okay?" He asked "Yeah I'm okay" I smiled. The movie started and I already got scared I've never watched The Shrine so everything is a jump scare. What am I doing? What is Brennen thinking about this? I'm such a terrible person oh my god alright as soon as I wake up I'm getting my things and leaving.

The movie ended and I saw Matt half asleep stillholding onto me. I moved into a comfortable position still held in Matt's arms,"It's over?" He said in a raspy voice and stretching. "Yeah" I said yawning. Welaid down face-to-face "Goodnight Matt." "Goodnight baby." Baby? Did he justcall me baby? Fuck Eva stop your shit. Maybe it is time to move on but ontoMatt again, Brennen wouldn't want this. "Goodnight." I whispered with a smile. Thiswas the first time we ever slept together we never slept together and I neverfound out why, probably because he was cheating. We occasionally FaceTimed and Iwould go over or he would go over but never stayed the night so this shows howmuch he changed I might just consider giving Matt another chance.
