"Ma'am, ano po ang masasabi nyo sa mga paratang sainyo ng fans ni Ethan?"

"Ma'am, totoo po bang anak ka ni Mr. and Mrs. Caziño?"

"Hermione ano ang masasabi mo sa parents mo?"

"Hermione bakit mo kinulong ang iyong magulang. Wala ka bang awa sakanila?" And that's it, hinarap ko na ang reporters na paulit-ulit akong tinatanong pag labas ko sa korte.

"Wala po akong pakealam." Sabi ko bago tumalikod ulit at naglakad palabas ng korte. Nandon na sila Mateo at ang tatlo ko na kaibigan na nag hihintay sakin sa loob ng SUV.

I just finished putting my parents behind bars. I was the lawyer representing the maid who was tortured by them.

The case had been ongoing for five years, and nobody had the courage to take it up. So, I made the biggest decision of my life and returned from the U.S to take up the case myself.

Right, limang taon na.. limang taon na simula nung iniwan ko sya. Sometimes, napapaisip ako kung di ko sya iniwan, may pamilya na kaya kami?

"Hoy tanga, wag ka nga mag moment dyan! Napaka sad girl mo, nanalo ka nga sa pang lima mong kaso sa Pilipinas, e!" Bulabog ni Mateo nang napansin nilang nakatulala lang ako at hindi nag sasalita.

"Nag rerelapse yan, wag mo nga guluhin. Paka bastos mo talagang hayop ka." Ani ni Syera at sinampal si Mateo. God, these two are always fighting. Simula pa nung college kami ay ganyan na sila.

"Tumigil na nga kayo," Saway ni Yuri sa dalawa habang nag mamaneho ito, kaya napatahimik sila at pumirmi sa kanilang upuan.

"Pag pasensyahan mo na sila, gusto ka lang nilang pasayahin, Hermi." Tapik ni Beatriz sakin at siniko si Syera. Tumango ako at napatingin sa digital watch ko, bago napa buntong hininga.

"Guys, madali lang tayo, ha? I have to go to Chua Medical Hospital." I tried to calm myself. Gosh, sa tuwing naririnig ko palang ang apelyido nya ay nang hihina na ako.

"Uy si ex!" Kantyaw ni Mateo, habang si Syera ay yinuyugyog pa ako at tumatawa nang malakas.

I rolled my eyes at them before saying, "Damn, ikaw nga pinagpalit sa malapit."

Napatahimik naman si Mateo, kaya tinawanan sya ni Syera. Finally, katahimikan kahit papaano.

After we ate lunch, umalis na silang tatlo at sumabay na ako kay Yuri papunta sa law firm ko. Katulad ko, he's a lawyer as well. Tinulungan nya ako sa law firm ko, kaya sobra ang pasasalamat ko sakanya.

"Oh, I gotta go, Yuri. Ikaw na ang bahala dito, ha?" I said before exiting his car and immidiately walking towards my Montero car.

I drove to Chua Medical Hospital. Their lawyer resigned, which is why his parents approached me and asked me to be the lawyer for their hospital. Of course, I agreed. Even if I didn't want to, I didn't have any choice. This is the only thing I can do to say sorry to them after I hurt their son.

The assistant immediately escorted me to the press conference. I had almost forgotten about it, but thankfully I had worn something formal that day - a white blouse, a black blazer, black slacks, and heels. As soon as the assistant knocked on the door, everyone in the room went silent. I opened the door and entered the room, and all eyes were on me - but that's not surprising, considering that I am quite well-known in the U.S as the best lawyer around, and even here in the Philippines. Maybe they were all shocked to see me.

"I'm so sorry if i'm late, kakagaling ko lang po sa korte." Sabi ko bago yumuko nang kaunti para mag paumanhin. Sigh.. nakakahiya naman!

"You're always late, Ms. Caziño." Sabi ng isang pamilyar na boses. Tinanggal ko sa pag kakayuko ang ulo ko at tinignan 'yon, there he is.

The guy I once loved.

He's looking at me as if he didn't loved me.

As if he didn't hurt himself just for my sake.
