Morning comes as Sam is woken up by Annika of all people, her blonde curls sticking out in every direction. Sam hurriedly packs up her books, shoving her wand into her robes as she hurriedly gets ready. The three girls head down the grand hall frazzled, overslept from the night before.

When they entered, most students were already sitting down at their tables talking away. Sam sat down, too nervous to really eat anything. She waves her wand slowly under the table, rehearsing the spell she has all but memorized by now.

"Ugh, History, again," Annika groans, taking a slice of toast from the main table. "Y'know if Binns wasn't so dreadful, maybe some people would actually stay awake in his class."

"The homework he assigned had nothing to do with his lesson..." Annika and Celeste chatter, as Sam tunes out of their conversation.

She sees some people getting ready to leave for their first class; now's the time. Concentrating hard, Sam stares at her goblet, filled with Pumpkin juice, waving her wand under the table.

"Wingardium Leviosa." Sam whispers, waving her wand harshly under the table.

She sees her goblet slowly rising into the air, along with Celeste and Annika's. Her goblet is barely rising above the table, it's hard to even notice the difference. Sam repeats herself over and over again as more goblets slowly start to drift away from the Ravenclaw table.

Sam looks around the Great Hall, where hundreds of goblets are now raised above students' heads, much like candles that twinkle above. Birds started flying in through the upper windows, knocking pumpkin juice all over students' clothing, letters, and tables.

Students from everywhere were dodging their drinks, moving out of the way while the owls seemed to pay no attention to the students' distress. Sam looks over to the Slytherin table, whereupon she sees the first-year students who wave their hands up in the air, trying to wrestle their goblets back onto the table.

Emboldened by this chaos, Sam has quite a bit of fun, swishing her wand around in her oversized robes, swaying the goblets side to side. She stares at the Gryffindor table, where she sees James and Sirius pull out their wands, having a fake sword fight while Alice and Marlene are busy trying to pack up their textbooks to leave.

Professor McGonagall stood at the front of the teachers' table, lowering her wand as the goblets return to their usual positions on the tables. Sam sits back down, suppressing the urge to laugh when she witnesses Snape finally grab his pumpkin juice, causing it to spill down his entire front.

"Ugh! You Boys!" Lily yells from the Gryffindor table. "First the cauldrons and now this!"

Other students start leaving the Great Hall to go to their first period classes, and some of the first years stay behind to listen in. Lily's scolding attracts the attention of Professor McGonagall who slowly makes her way over to James and Sirius.
