Chapter 3.5 - The Man (Shiro's POV)

It all started a few weeks ago. This mysterious man kept following me on the way to school and back. I asked Kazuki if he could maybe walk me to school and it worked, he didn't follow me around on the way to school but I guess Kazuki and Haruto came late because I couldn't see them anywhere. I sat on a bench in front of the school and patiently waited for them except it was too late because the man (Who Haruto had called Katsunori) found me and unlike other times, he approached me. I was even more scared then I was before after hearing Miss Mindy's story so I started walking away but he followed me and pushed me into an alley.

My heart was pounding and beads of sweat were running down my face.

"Hi Shiro." He said in a smug voice. I tugged on my clothes and stepped back until I reached a wall.

I remained quiet. I wasn't sure what to say. Do I talk back? Do I fight back? If I punched him, he would definitely murder me right here. What about running? He was standing right infront of me, bending forward so there was no way I could run away. I looked over his shoulders and just as I had expected, no one was walking by. I was doomed. I was going to die. Then my phone rang.

"Oh? Who's calling you, let's see." Katsunori's long fingers (That surprisingly had black nail polish on it?!) reached out and grabbed my phone. "Oh look, it's your friend Kazuki. How nice of him to call you." He dropped my phone and stepped on it. I flinched as the screen loudly cracked.

Don't be scared Shiro, Katsunori could sense fear, it's just a phone, Kazuki and Haruto would be here soon. Just don't make any wrong decisions.

"Alright now Shiro," Katsunori started again. "I am Katsunori and I need your body."

I was shocked. That was so straight forward. What did he mean by "I need your body"?

"The form I am in isn't suitable as I have lost too much energy in a fight but your body would be perfect for my usage."

"Why...why...mine?"

"Oh come on, don't be scared, it won't hurt a bit."

I could hear Kazuki and Haruto yelling my name. I wanted to yell back but I couldn't. Katsunori was getting closer and closer. I shut my eyes tight and prayed that all of this would be over soon. Even with my eyes shut, I can see bits of light in front of me, then darkness and when I finally open my eyes, Kazuki and Haruto.

Also, I know Katsunori sounds like a pedo right now. I can assure you he isn't 🤠
