Main Mansion - 21h30
Author's POV

A knock on the door didn't make Taehyung's body flinch, neither move as she stepped inside slowly. The room was silent, dark. None of the lights on except for the small one upon his desk, behind which he sat.

She scanned the room. His office wasn't much different from hers: as large, with the same position of furniture. The lounge area, on the right, the fireplace on the left. In the back of the room, a huge tall window, in front of which was a desk. His desk.

The colors of the office were dark, his fireplace on a deep green, such as the curtains, in between which the moonlight passed through, enlightening the shines of his dark hair.

He was quiet, still as she stepped forward, not sparing her a look. She got in front of him and saw how he leaned back on his seat, his legs crossed, his right elbow upon the table and on his hand, a gun. A gun with which he played, letting his fingers expertly twirl it, as if it was an harmless toy. His eyes scanning its movement attentively, his lips gently placed upon each other.

'Were you waiting for me?' she asked, now standing next to him and seeing he wouldn't start the conversation.

He ignored her at first, but ended up replying, in a deep hoarse voice, probably because he had not spoken for a while 'Isn't it obvious?'

She flicked her eyebrow and crossed her arms in front of her chest. Jealously. Once again.

He was burning with it and he had been patiently waiting for her to burst out in fury.

He looked at her for the first time, through his lashes, and saw how she waited for his reaction, with an annoyed face 'You seem harmless'

'Why would I be harmed?' she asked, her hip leaning against the desk.

'How would I know?' he let out, his eyes on the gun and eyebrows moving up, as he placed it upon the wood, slowly 'I didn't send anyone after you'

She slightly smirked. That was true, he had not. That was a progress.

'Aren't you going to ask me how it went?' she asked and he leaned back on the chair, both his arms extended on the armrest, as he eyes her with his cold stare, clenched jaw.

His lips, plump rosy lips shined slightly, perfectly wetted for her to attack. There was something irresistible about them, which always made her on her knees for him.

'Do I want to know?' he asked, his long fingers tapping rhythmically the chair.

'You surely do' she smirked. He frowned, his eyes analyzing her.

'Tell me then'

'He agreed on joining us' she stated, her voice serious 'He's on our side'

His fists gripped the hem of the chair, his eyes narrowing 'And how did you exactly manage that?'

'I told him the whole story, Hoseok had not done it yet' he breathed slowly 'He wants to know the meaning about this too'

'What did you exactly tell him?'

'I told him everything Tae. About us, about Hoseok, about my father and yours, ...' he tensed, eyes in disbelief 'I had to. That would be no way of him joining us if I didn't tell him'

'It's a risk... he might use that to end us-'

'He won't' She instantly replied, cutting him off. He narrowed his eyes again, suspiciously.

'How are you so sure?'

'I know him Tae' she stated 'Better than you do'

A chuckle came out of his lips and he looked to the side, inhaling deeply, tongue nervously passing through his top lip. He bit it 'You surely know him well'
