"Puppy!"
The starcrunch I was currently munching on lodged itself in my throat as my iPad flipped out of my hand, hitting the blanket covered floor with a soft thud.
Crud!
I coughed as I grappled for my Frozen tumblr sitting beside me and took a few large sips of apple juice to help get the crispy, gooey, chocolaty treat down into my tummy.
Footsteps echoed down the hall and it was now that I realized my video was still playing and I scrambled quickly to pick it up before closing it out and switching it over to my iTunes Rock playlist.
He wouldn't be amused by my research.
Not since Devil learned exactly how I knew what edging was and how to suck his... thingy.
My bottom hurt for hours.
I tucked the pad under one of my pillows as Citizen Soldier - Monster Made of Memories filled my ears and pulled out my drawing pad, flipping it open to an unfinished sketch just as our bedroom door opened.
The drawing was a black and white sketch of the swan couple we had in our garden out back, they are floating on the small lake and once it was colored in, it would be during the sunset. But I just couldn't get the reflection of the sun in the water just right.
Looked more like a melted glob of goo...
The entrance to to my fort was pulled open and out of the corner of my eye I could see Wolfie had ducked his head just inside the opening, his body not trespassing the border of the makeshift archway made of two pool noodles Dante and I spray pained silver and Sky had twisted a vine of fake white and blue flowers around the foam along with some fairy lights we found in the dollar section of Target.
When we came back home, I couldn't bear going back up to my hidden part of the library, even the thought of it made my skin crawl. After being violated and assaulted by him there twice, that place represented pain and filled my heart with something I could only describe as foul and rotten and I refused to even step foot on the first step of the spiral stairs that led up to the second floor of the library.
