Leshy was upset. He really didn't want Milo to leave; he didn't like the idea of having to tolerate someone else, and the smell from the kitchen was worse than ever!

Leshy was sniffing around for Heket, but the smell in the kitchen was making it hard for him to find anything or anyone.

"Fine! I'll do it myself!" Leshy yells as he runs to the kitchen.

He holds his nose closed as he reaches for some meat and places it on the stove, "Where is it-there!" Leshy finds the spatula and turns the stove on.

Leshy didn't know what he was thinking; he was blind, he was going to mess this up, but he didn't care if it meant smelling something else.

Leshy sniffed the meat as it cooked; he heard footsteps walk up to him and he smelled drool, 'Ew,' he thought, 'Keep your mouth shut..' Leshy sniffed the meat and flipped it; it seemed about the right time, but that wasn't the only thing he smelled; there seemed to be... a butterfly? Leshy sniffed around more; he loved those winged smaller versions of him that seemed to have a seizure every time they left the ground.

Leshy then realized he smelled something burnt, shit. Leshy turned his attention back to the meat and realized it was burning. He gave it a few hits before the fire was put out.

He sighed, and heard an upset growl from the person watching him before they walked off.

He put the spatula down, about to just walk off when he heard a voice, "Hey Lesh...you ok?" it smelled like Milo.

"Yeah...just..guess cooking is harder than I thought...especially when you're..blind..." Leshy says as he pokes at the burnt steak.

"Here..." Milo says as he hands Leshy something. Leshy sniffs and grabs it; it was a camellia flower, "There was one that grew faster than the rest and..I know you just eat them but..I know you like them."

Leshy blushes, "T-Thanks.."

"Of course..I'm going to finish packing, the leader said they would introduce you to your new caretaker themselves after I left so..see you!" Milo then walks off.

Leshy hears them walk off and sighs before taking a bite out of the flower; it tasted better than the others near The Lamb's statue. Leshy walked out of the kitchen and threw the stem away.

Later that day, Leshy smelled Milo's scent getting further and further away as they left the cult. Leshy frowned before feeling a hand placed gently on his shoulder; it was The Lamb, "It's alright Leshy, he'll be back in no time. In the meanwhile, meet Elena."

Elena waved, not that Leshy could see it but he could feel it, "Hi, nice to meet you Leshy." she extended her hand for a handshake only for Leshy to grab it and take a big whiff.

"Roses..." Leshy muttered.

"What?"

"You smell like roses..." Leshy mutters again.

"Oh...t-thanks?" Elena took her hand back.

The Lamb smiled, "Alright, you two have fun." The Lamb turned to Elena, "Remember he's..still getting used to things..." Elena nods and The Lamb walks off.

Leshy growled, "Wretched Lamb.."

"Hey, don't speak about the leader like that." Elena says.

Leshy would roll his eyes, if he had any.

Milo was playing a soft tune on a banjo, "I only know the basics..but I made up this tune and..it's pretty good right?" he asks as he stops.

Leshy reaches out and plucks a string; the sound reverberates within the instrument. Leshy growls, "Keep...playing..."

Milo starts the tune back up again, "You like it huh?"

Leshy is silent, only growling every once in a while.

"Do you play an instrument, Leshy?" Milo asks with a smile.

He did, the flute, but why would he tell Milo that? Bishops are supposed to be feared, and if Milo were to find out what he was, he would fewr him, "No...I don't bother with..music." he said music like it was some sort of slur.

"Odd...then why do you like this tune so much if you don't bother with it?" Milo asks with a stupid smirk.

"Enough! No more questions!" Leshy commands.

"Oh come on. How am I to get to know you then? One more question, then I'll stop, promise." Milo begs.

Leshy growls but relents, "Fine...since I'm feeling..kind..and cause you feed me...two more, then no more today!"

"Really? Yay! Alright, got to make it count then..." Milo thinks before speaking up again, "What's up with the triangle on your bandages?"

Leshy tenses, already regretting this, "It...It represents the loss of my eyes...it's..my symbol...I place it on..anything that's mine..."

"Oh...alright...for my second question, how about the black stuff coming out of your bandages then?" Milo asks.

Leshy sighs and touches the black stuff, "That's..coming out? Shit..." Leshy rubs the black stuff between his fingers, "It's...um..."

It was blood, god blood, but he didn't want to say that. He liked the fact Milo didn't know who...what...he actually was.

"It's... a mixture," Leshy finally said, his voice cautious. "To... help with the healing process. It's liquidy though so...it leaks."

Milo seemed to be convinced, "Oh...well alright...does...does it hurt? Sorry...I know you said no more questions but...it feels like having no eyes would be...painful..."

Leshy is silent for a minute, "It hurt...at the time but...all that's left now is...emotional..." Leshy feels his bandages.

Milo nods, "...Oh!..just realized I stopped strumming sorry..."

Leshy hadn't noticed either; as the tune started again, he stopped touching his bandages and smiled, "You sure you don't want to come with me?"

Milo laughs, "Not till you can tell me where you'll take me."

"Can't...you might get scared." Leshy says.

"Then I'm not going...unless...you come with me to my place.." Milo says.

Leshy shakes his head, "No way."

Milo shrugs, "Then it's a no for me too."
